Bunny and Kitty from Courage the Cowardly Dog! Despite being one-off characters, they're popular enough to have a fanbase of their own. They originate from the two-part episode "The Mask", being themed after domestic abuse. It hits hard and I think these two are more than just "best friends", if ya know what I mean.

Granted, I haven't actually seen the episode, but... I might give it a shot. Anyways, hope y'all like.
