When I was a kid, me and my siblings who were as young as me would pretend any helicopter flying by was a missile. When ever we heard a helicopter approaching while we were playing, we'd call out, "MISSILE!" If it was a single rotor kind with a small tail rotor, we pretended you had to go inside the house, grage or shed when it flew over in order to not get blown up. If the helicopter was the kind with two large rotors such as military troop carriers, we pretended you had to climb up in a tree in order not to get blown up. When someone didn't make it indoors, or up in a tree in time, we'd make explosion noises as the helicopter flew over.
