The Shiik's an egg laying wool covered animal.

Thanks to the magical nature of Azgariith, the farmers use simple magic to keep them making milk. They give them breaks between (weeks or months) were shiiks are free to roam.

Shiik is not for eating and are seen in the same light as a pet Takrit and not a mere farm animal.
Infact their word for "animal" in riith tongue is "Ousraffe" which roughly translates to "the other us" because of the similarity between the 'animals' and the people of that world.

The people of the riith treat ousraffe with love and respect.
