It was regular night and a 20-year-old Liepard named Midnight was going for a walk with his little brother, an 11-year-old Purrlion named Bandit when they passed by the Callaway residence. River was outside, sketching a picture of the full moon, while Norman was sitting beside him, enjoying the view. “The moon is so beautiful in this state,” River said. “Yeah. I wish I could see it up close.” Norman said, holding his paw out toward the moon. Norman then noticed Midnight and Bandit passing by and said hi. “Hello,” He said, waving. “Oh, h-hi.” Midnight stuttered. “Wanna hang out with us?” Norman said, trying to be friendly. “Are you sure?” Midnight asked, feeling hesitant. “Please, join us. We like meeting new people.” River said, inviting them. “But I don’t want to hang out with strangers,” Bandit whined, crossing his arms. “Bandit, stop it. I’m sick and tired of your tantrums. I can’t even show my face in one of my favorite ice cream shops for a long time because of how you treated that poor woman. These nice boys are inviting us to sit and hang out with them and they seem nice, so we should take their offer.” Midnight said, rubbing his temples. “You’re not the boss of me.” Bandit snapped, sticking his tongue out. River leaned over to Norman and whispered, “I remember when you were like that. Thank God you got your act together eventually.” Norman laughed because he wasn’t the kind to make a big deal of the past. “Ha ha, yeah.” He giggled. Midnight grabbed Bandit’s wrist, dragged him over, and made him sit down. “Sit. And don’t even think of pulling anything.” Midnight said. Bandit was about to say something but crossed his arms and pouted. Midnight sat down and sighed. River put his paw on Midnight’s shoulder and gave a sympathetic smile. “I’m sorry you have to deal with that.” He said. “It’s fine, I’m used to it.” Midnight said. The Vaporeon and Liepard soon struck up a conversation interests, such as painting and hockey Meanwhile, Bandit got bored of just sitting, so he got up and picked up a rock he found and was about to throw it when Norman saw what he was doing and rushed to stop him. “STOP!! What are you-” *PUNCH* Bandit punched Norman as hard as he could, causing the Eeevee to drop motionless to the ground. “NORMAN!!” River jumped up to check on his little brother, who was laying on the ground, crying and holding his eye. River helped him and checked to see if he was okay. “Are you alright, buddy?” He asked, panicking. Midnight was horrified, but not surprised that Bandit would do something like that. “Ow, ow, ow, *sniff* it hurts.” Norman whimpered, covering his eye. “Move your paw, let me see your eye,” River said in a calm and gentle voice. Norman slowly moved his shaking paw away from his eye, revealing a large fist-shaped bruise on his face. River was shocked. Without thinking, he quickly ran inside and came back with an ice pack. “Here,” He said, pressing it against Norman’s eye. “It’ll prevent swelling.” Norman grabbed the ice pack and held it against his eye. “Thank you, River,” Norman said, smiling. River gave Norman a smile and a nod before angrily turning to Bandit, who was smiling. “What is wrong with you?” He snapped. “Why did you hit him?” “I am so sorry, I… Why, Bandit? Why do you have to start trouble everywhere we go? Why can’t you just behave?” Midnight said, looking clearly upset. “Because he was annoying me,” Bandit said with a sly smirk. “Annoying you? I was trying to stop you from breaking the window.” Norman said. “WHAT!?!” River snapped. He started to take deep breaths to calm down. “You’re lucky I can’t just bend you over my knee and spank your bare butt,” River said, baring his teeth at Bandit. “Ha, Maybe if that little baby didn’t get in my way, he’d-” “Go ahead.” Midnight said, cutting Bandit off. Bandit looked confused. “What?” He said. “River, if you want to spank him, go ahead. I won’t stop you. He deserves it.” Midnight said. Bandit’s heart dropped. “What? No! No, he can’t-” “Enough. I have had more than enough of your attitude and misbehavior. I’ve always been too nice to spank you myself, but River isn’t. Either you accept the punishment, or I’ll let Mom and Dad know you punched someone,” Midnight said in a stern voice. Bandit was starting to regret what he did because he was used to getting away with acting out. He wasn’t expecting to be spanked. “N-no, please.” He whimpered. “You heard him. Let’s get this over with.” River said. Bandit looked around and realized there was no other option, so he slowly made his way over to River. River grabbed his wrist and pulled him over his knee, and began to pull his pants down. “Wait, no, no.” Bandit began to panic. “Quit whining, Bandit. You’ve earned this.” Midnight said, crossing his arms. River pulled Bandit’s pants and underwear down to his ankles and raised his paw to give his bare bottom a firm slap. *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* “Ow, ow, ow, stop it. Stip, please.” Bandit said, trying not to cry. *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* “Stop, please. I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” Bandit whined as his backside was struck over and over. River was furious and refused to easy on the little Purrlion. *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* *SLAP* As soon as River was finished with him, he helped the now sore and sobbing 11-year-old off his lap. Tears ran down his face as he hopped up and down because of the pain in his backside. “I want to apologize again for Bandit. I assure you he’ll be getting another one when we get home.” Midnight said, still very angry at his brother. “Don’t be too hard on him,” River said in a joking voice. “ I’ll try not to. Pull your pants up. We’re going home.” Midnight said, dragging the sobbing Purrlion by his wrist. “NO!!! NOOO!!! PLEASE, I SAID I WAS SORRY!!! PLEASE DON’T SPANK ME AGAIN, PLEEEEEEEAAAASE!!!” Bandit wailed. “Quit yelling. People are trying to sleep.” Midnight scolded. “I almost feel sorry for him,” River said. “I kinda feel bad for him. He seemed so upset and scared.” Norman said. “Ah, Norman. You’re way too pure for this world.” River said, heading inside. Norman looked back for a second before heading inside as well. He really did feel bad for Bandit, even if he gave him a black eye, and hoped that Midnight was just threatening to spank him to scare him. But he would never know.
