I finished the Fifi hand carved stamper I've been working on last night. Here's the final version and some initial impressions. I think my stamp carving practice is beginning to pay off. This carve went fairly smoothly and I think it looks pretty good.
I intend to make some hand colored ACEO (LTC) impressions off it too so let me know if you're interested in trades, toonsters. She's so big she barely fits on a standard card so I may do some oversized postcards or similar. This will be available in a letterbox so you will be able to get your own impression of her if you're up to the challenge.
Added a print using a gradient ink pad and a photo of the cards I've printed up.

Fantastic Job on all your prints, and plates also.

Thanks! I got into stamp carving a while ago and really took to it. It is a lot of work. Most of the hand carved stamps I've found so far have been carved with simple grooves on the solid block. One was just crudely cut words on a whole lino block. Blech! Another was pretty cute and done by kids in a day care. They did a better job than most.
