This is part of a spinoff using my OC Tiberius. Rather than Tiberius meeting Rudo and becoming his boyfriend--at least at first--instead, Shadow finds himself drawn to Sonic's meek older brother. While Shadow helps Tiberius come out of his shell, Tiberius' more down to earth nature convinces Shadow to adopt some of his ways including the lack of shoes.
This Shadow has an interest in 80s style and music, and is much more shameless, including having a blatant attraction to Tiberius' feet. But his different demeanor doesn't mean he's any weaker. In fact he's even stronger due to only having two inhibitor rings. When he runs at sonic speed, the force of his power leaves cracks in the ground.
