James takes his daughter Daisy out for the day to the bowling alley.
Maeve and James remained good friends (after the events of Reality of Desire) and although they didn't stay together as a couple (well, they never really were a couple in the first place) it was important for Maeve that he was as much a part of Daisy's life as she was, hence the fun trips out, usually as just a dad and his daughter, but occasionally all three of them having an adventure together.
Today's trip is to a bowling alley, where James shows Daisy the basics of ten-pin bowling. When she was old enough, he'd take her to The King's Arms pub where they have a skittle alley, which is broadly the same. Turns out though that when it comes to pub sports, Daisy is better at darts.
