Backing track by the U.S. USAF Band. Song in the public domain.

As an interesting note, this song predates the U.S. Air Force. It was created during World War II for the Army Air Corps. You can substitute "Army Air Corps" for "U.S. Air Force" in the lyrics to get the original. When the Air Force split off in the years after World War II, they took the song with them.

Great song. Nicely done.

In my story mostly set in 1960, Clarence Coyote and Project Courier, one of my cub characters, Ryan Lynx, joins the U.S. Air Force when he becomes of age during America's involvement in the Vietnam War.
Ryan's MOS is gunner aboard a B-52 during air raids over Hanoi.
After the war is over, Ryan Lynx reinlists, making it a career, and eventually retiring years later as a high ranking staff NCO. Ryan Lynx and his wife live well from Ryan's Air Force retirement pension.
