Furries’ visual aspect (compared to humans)
Mostly resembles humans’ body, including height, members’ configuration, etc; EXCEPT for their defining characteristics below:
FUR: covers all the body except for orifices (mouth, eyes, ears’ canal, pawpads, snout (cold tip), claws, anus, genitalia openings, nipples), is mostly short – about 1cm when raised. Is longer on eyebrows, top of the head (hair), armpit, publican area and chin for males due to human DNA; and also tail, mandibular axis, ears inside and a small tuft in the chest due to the animal’s DNA. The color contrast from base color on the human’s hair parts – follows stripes/spots color, but is the same as base color for monocolored fur. The implications of this characteristic is the tendency of them to wear as less clothing as possible – in the communities of only them or with only consenting humans they rarely wear any clothing – they only become affected by cold below 0°C. Heat above 40°C is also harmful to them as it has the same effect as a strong fever, mainly leading to dehydration.
MUZZLE: (mandible & maxilla) one of the main differences between humans, all of them have it longer: comparing the mandible size, felines (Homo Felidae) have it 30% longer, while canines (Homo Canis) have it 60% longer. It integrates the nose, which is animal-like, and goes as high as the eye line. Is slightly tilted down, and connects very smoothly to the face. The snout (cold tip of the nose) follow or not the color of the “pawpads”, according to race. The snout size and shape follows the race pattern, the biggest (wolf) covering almost 1/3 of the muzzle front, and the smallest (cat) doesn’t follow the proportion of the rest of the muzzle. The muzzle wideness is as much as a human mouth, but the mouth lining is much larger, following half of the muzzle’s frontward protuberance. Also, the canine teeth (all four) are longer as in animals, 70% longer than humans, but all other teeth are equal to humans, allowing them to be omnivore. All in all it resembles animals, except for lips and forehead height (bigger, as humans). The muscles of the mouth are less efficient, what makes their speech not so flawless, and the taste is a little prejudiced by the modifications of size.
EARS: shape and size follows race pattern. The size is compact compared to animals’ – never is much higher than the head, the usual height is half of the head. The placement is more lateralized and the opening smaller due to human DNA, which (together with other factors) prevents water from getting in too easily (like in animals) and allowing them to dive under low depths. The hearing covers a higher range of decibels, from lower to higher - though this last one is prejudicial and cause pain more easily than humans.
EYES: very similar to humans, but felines have vertical diaphragm (pupil). Color of the iris varies depending on race, and it’s slightly bigger than humans’. The vertical diaphragm allows felines to have a panoramic view, not to mention a more precise focusing and detailing; canines have the same viewing system as humans, but are slightly deficient in color tones.
TAIL: is a continuation of the spine, it becomes visible where the coccyx would be in humans. It is thin, slightly thicker than the spine because of the muscles around it. Its length varies: the length of the thigh for canines and of the whole leg for felines. It’s the main factor to their climbing ability, it gives an extra balance when the equilibrium is compromised. Its counterbalance effect is done by movement instead of weight, for it would affect the balance stability in some situations such as walking.
HANDS & FEET: The hands are mostly like humans’ – except for claws instead of nails and “pawpads” (harder furless pads for more friction) in the last section of each finger plus a bigger one covering the upper half of the palm of the hand. The feet also resembles humans’, except for claws, 4 thick toes that resembles a real animal paw, and the “pawpads” – the toes’ area is exactly like an animal paw, plus a big one right below the ankles. It doesn’t give a grip as efficient as humans in hands, but it does on the feet, to be added with the four big toes that help balancing way more.

BIONIC MODIFICATIONS: The residents of the Incognito city have the last technology in their daily lives, mainly the best BIS (Biometric Identity System) available. It’s a device necessary on this new world, even if one that has only the basic function: Their personal worldwide serial number, their ID. It’s so necessary that every intelligent being is given one at their very birth. It’s connected to the spinal cord, and consequently to the whole nervous system. It is implanted through a single surgery, and others only needed in case of the device getting broken or in certain growth ages. This device gives the government a greater control over people than ever before, as it can locate them, identify them and even monitor their senses. There are ways to hack these functions (hide yours or go into others’), but it’s not worth it as it makes one an outlaw. However, most people don’t mind this for the many benefits it gives people: it connects them to everything. By translating your neural pulses, you can control other devices via Bluetooth (or similar), record things your senses get, monitor you vital signs and warn the nearest hospital at a dangerous vital sign, etc; by implanting neural pulses, you can see and hear things that the device generates, such as info from the things you see (collected from the web); and with both of them, you can access the internet from your mind. The serial number (ID) is connected to your DNA, so it can never be completely lost, and it contains ALL your information, such as bank accounts (credit cards are extinct and non-virtual money is rare), working papers, passport, criminal records, and even all your user accounts in sites (it prevents fake ones and other online crimes). The BIS has specific plug sockets, which are visible on the back of the neck (main) and along the spine (secondary). Three is the minimal sockets count, the main one plus two secondary on either side of the spine, but it can be added more secondary ones along the spine, on a two-by-two basis. The usage of the main socket is for emergency contact with the system if the Bluetooth feature is broken, and the secondary are for plugging accessories, such as a long range antennae (mainly for radio/cellphone usage), projector (project the images on your mind on a wall), speakers (play the sounds in your mind), etc. Another feature exclusive of the Incognito’s BIS model is the bioluminescence generator, which makes organic tissue such as eyes emit light, managing when it happens and the level of light emitted.
