Last night, I worked up a sketch I made just after Yule last year, when the world was indeed being exceedingly cruel.

Asantrea has long been cathartic for me; escaping to its medieval streets and immense forests has always been deeply soothing.

This is the first time I've attempted a landscape picture; that's Stillwater Cove in the distance, and overhead are Asantrea's larger two (of three) moons; Seilyr and Saliel.

Dieter has come to embody more of me even than Bruno, lately, so it felt right to put him into this picture.
