"Why not a hedgehog?"  Because the franchise has enough hedgehogs.  No birds either.  Instead, I turned Elise into a chipmunk princess... for obvious reasons...

With how entertainment media keeps trying to break the mold with female characters, I appreciate Elise for being an actual princess and not a subversion.  There's nothing with girl power, but there's nothing wrong with being female and liking feminine things.

If Elise had any abilities, I would imagine her Energy Field had improved over time.  She would be able to shield herself and anyone else within.
