On the first morning of their marriage, Shameen woke Shema up with a kiss and the words, "Good morning, I love you." Ever since then, he has begun her day with these words, so long as he can wake up before her.
Sadly, Shema usually wakes up during the week well before Shameen wakes and she doesn't hear these words as often as she used to. But if she wakes up early on the weekends out of habit, she will lay in bed for hours pretending to be asleep, just to hear this again.
