I've always been a cheap day laborer throughout my life, but if I get the chance to get paid in beer, whiskey, & homecooked food I'm taking it hands down folks! XD "Also digging a trench through clay & rocks really sucks tbh!"
Anyway been away from most things lately but got a tonne of back art I need to finish and post soon, more on that later tho.
It instilled in me an urgency to escape it and also to study ergonomics. I realized that an artists own body eventually becomes a limiting factor. Ergonomics is weird, there are charts we learn which basically give a guide on how to analyze and score each motion in the work cycle, it's frequency, load and duration, and that gives a result that says how long til the body breaks permanently from doing it. There are supposed to be cutoffs and ways to mitigate the most highly scored actions, and it justifies job rotation or some other engineering fix. I dunno, now I just use it to set up my art stations and desk/monitor height so I can sit on the computer the entire day without pain.
His outfit is very attractive~ UwU
