Here we have an example of a Himonti Elf. I know what you're thinking. "That's an elf? He looks like an orc!" You have every right to question it. Even the Himonti question if they are Elves sometimes. The only two things the Himonti and every other elf share is that 1) they hail from the lands of Ilfta and 2) the have pointy ears.
Thanks to the tough hides of the many beasts across the plateaus of Himont, the Hinmonti became masters of the crossbow. Pictured is an example of one of their repeaters, a crossbow that can be drawn and notched with the pulling of a lever.
Most elves eat little meat with some races forgoing meat entirely. The Himonti are almost carnivorous by contrast as it seems impossible to grow the staple crops that most elves enjoy. The most that grow are herbs, spices, and the cooking trees. Cooking trees are trees whose woods impart different flavors onto food when used to cooking.
Because of the unfriendly land, most fruits and veggies are imported and are typically only enjoyed by the Nobility. This has led to many Elven Nobles seeing Himonti Nobles as backwards yokels who enjoy peasant food.
