Fun fact: The notion of her design started coming to me during an overnight screening of 1986's Hoosiers last January during my annual, personal, held-at-home New Year's marathon, now called the "Gamut". Cheer Bun wears blue underwear as well; thank/blame the opening scenes of 1982's Zapped!, which I caught some 5-6 years ago on ThisTV.
Not to mention she has a cousin, too. Even better: Both attended the same school once--and are lesbians to each other; the position they engage in can wait till another submission. (Cf. raccoons Sam and Alfred from my forthcoming Unspooled books.)
This take, over half a year later, comes from Mexican newcomer "luvo_pop" (as a request that was part of her commission practice; the cousin must wait another few months if I can afford it). Helps that the Super Bowl took place half a week before this piece débuted.
Despite my best efforts, a real official name for this hoppy-toppy beauty (first or full) remains up for grabs. Best (or only) pick in the comments wins, and will be reflected in the eventual IB/FA renaming of this work. (Also, feel free to give her and the cousin backstories; I'm a bit too invested in mapmaking and babysitting these days to be bothered with that.) Good luck!
Coming soon, more from Dixwell After Dark, as well as Seán the otter (a friend of Sam's)--all through PostyBirb. (Not to mention a short story featuring Sam and the gang [on Miraheze] from our first official writing collaborator.)
