I've drawn memes/comics of my change from mouse to weasel before. This is a more wordy version of explaining the change:
A friend of mine drew a female version of the mouse fursona I was forcing myself into, and I was immediately taken with her. However, anytime I depicted the two together, I found my actual self-insert would exaggerate his masculine traits, becoming more of a rat or even a little bit of a ferret in the process.
Eventually I stopped resisting and embraced that I am a predator. Reducing junk food and fighting against my crippling pornography addiction lead to other improvements. I'm still not perfect yet, and I'm humble enough to know I never will be.
I just want to be loved. The mouse was born out of fear, a desire to evade being hated by presenting myself as non-threatening. People hated me anyway, so I'd might as well embrace the things they hate me for: Being unashamed of my ancestry, loving freedom, being male, being heterosexual, and most of all being a Christian.
I really want to eat that mousegirl...
