Even leaving aside the whole 'that's just a regular yeen pussy' thing, why in Satan's fiery dickhole would you impose pronoun use and identity upon someone else? I had a similar experience with my personal character. I used to always call him a Siberian tiger. However, one day, someone spent the better part of an hour raging at me that Siberian tigers are white, and my character is orange. I tried to explain that all tiger subspecies produce white tigers. (It's a fairly predictable occurrence, similar to left handedness in humans.) I finally gave up, and just switched to calling him an Amur Tiger.
