Sinners of the Bosphorus: The story is a love story set in the 16th Century Ottoman Empire, during the later Reign of Sultan Murad III. It focuses on a fictitious relationship between Sultan Murad's second oldest son, Selim and an Irish Slave Soldier (Jannissary) Caomh Mac an Ghoill Abdullatif Aksoy. It will mostly follow Caomh's life, from his teenage years as a son of Fisherman, his enslavement by Barbary Pirates, his recruitment through the Devshirme system and adoption into the Aksoy family, his training as a Janissary and his meeting with Selim during the Battle of Torches, and finally his service as the personal bodyguard (And secret Lover) of Selim.
The story will mostly be Male/Male with some possible Male/Female scenes, and have themes of Alienation, Ottoman familial Culture, forbidden love, and death. The main inspiration comes from the early reign of Mehmed III (Murad III's heir), and the uncommon Ottoman tradition of securing the Sultan's reign, as well as the Sacking of Baltimore in 1631 by Dutch Corsair Jan Janszoon van Haarlem.

I have had many story idea's in my head, and what has been driving me mad is that I haven't been able to express these ideas. So I decided to start a pseudo-series where I can actually show off ideas, which I may eventually get around to making. I have had this idea for about a year, bouncing in my head, but only recently decided to pursue in revealing this idea. I have a few more idea's I want to reveal, and hopefully will be able to work on now that I have more lenient and open work schedule. Also hope you all have a happy new year too. Cheers,
