Life is not always so willing to let you talk your way out of a sticky situation. Sometimes you have to get nasty.
Imp has his devilish heritage on full display here, a bit of sulfur powder ignited by prestidigitation granting a nifty flame effect his fire resistance can work with as he casts chaos bolt using the infernal language. Of course the brandished dagger adds even more of a deterrent. Typically this is enough to frighten away normal attackers and rubes mistaking Imp for a demon, granting him ample time to fly away.
And yes, I'm aware "Flight" is a trait looked down on by most DnD games. I've actually got a few ideas how to make powered flight mechanically more realistic for the game, but I wont argue over it. Imp is a winged tiefling variant, and I'm perfectly capable of shifting him over to the Glys Bloodline if actually being able to use his wings is just too much. Still, I think this looks good for the puffed up little loon.
