So what have I been up to lately?

Well, I recently found myself becoming interested in DnD. When asked to make a character for a campaign, the DM suggested I use Imp for my stand-in. Of course an unrestricted shapeshifter kinda screams OP, so, after a but of discussion and research, Imp entered the world as a tiefling shadow-touched sorcerer with a charlatan background. He's actually been quite fun to play, and I'm hopeful this will reignite my desire to write so I can finally finish off my stories. At any rate building an interesting backstory and personality work for him has gotten some creative juices flowing.

In case any of you are interested, his point spread ended up as:
Str: 8
Dex: 14
Con: 14
Int: 10
Wis: 12
Chr: 17

So what we have here is Imp in what I call "traveler mode," wherein he's moving about the city on the lookout for his next mark to scam. The hood raised up and wings folded into a cape helps keep him from attracting too much attention, and hides his more exotic features. I gave him a good dexterity score and a proficiency with sleight of hand, allowing him to fall back on cheating at cards or tarot reading (he never gives a bad fortune) if all other avenues become scarce. I'm focusing more on the con-man deceptive aspect of the Charlatan background, a trickster prone to lying and cheating to get what he wants. I had thought of making him an arcane trickster rogue, and maybe I will some other time, but for now I'm very happy. Who knows, maybe I'll make this version of him into a full story. might be fun to use Imp as a reluctant hero.
