Slavery: The Beginning
By King Kangaroo
Duncan Roo was relaxing on the lush green grass in Hyde Park watching all the park-goers enjoy the day. The day was a warm 85 degrees and a calm cool breeze was blowing in from the Pacific Ocean. From his vantage point, he had a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and the Trans America Pyramid building. On the park grounds where he was at, people were engaged in all kinds of various activities. Some were playing tag, while others were enjoying a BBQ which smelled of burgers, hotdogs, and steaks, fried fruit including pineapple, pears, and others.
A group of young girls were laughing as they ran by him as they were using sticks to keep hoola hoops rolling. Elderly people were sitting in benches feeding the birds while other elderly people were enjoying chess and talking about their younger years. As all of this was going on, a small girl wearing blue suspenders, brown glasses, red tennis shoes came up to him. She had freckles painted on her face and long blonde hair that shined in the sunlight. She was holding a small clear plastic jar which had a brass colored lid that twisted off. The jar had a strip of brown tape on it with the words “My Stuff” written in black ink on it. She calmly walked up to Duncan and opened the jar and held it out to him in her right hand.
“Excuse me Duncan,” She said very politely. “May I please have some pieces of your fur?” She asked. Duncan looked at her and said,
“Sure you can. Where you want it to come from?” She looked all over him for the best spot of fur to pick from. She looked at his tail and found a spot.
“This spot is just right for me to pick from.” She said. She reached into her left pocket and pulled out a pair of scissors and began cutting a lot of fur from his tail. She put them in the jar and placed the lid back on it.
“Thank you very much Duncan!” She said as she thanked him for the fur.
“You’re welcome.” He said as she brisk fully walked away from him.
“I wonder why she wanted the fur?” Duncan thought to himself for a moment. The thought was quickly interrupted by a group of guys throwing a Frisbee among each other.
“Duncan lookout!!!” one of the guys yelled out. Before he could react, the Frisbee landed on his left knee. He looked down at the guys, who were now hoping he would throw it back to them. He gave them back the Frisbee and warned them to be very careful of where they throw it. They thanked him and went to another side of the park where no one would get hurt by the Frisbee. Duncan went back to relaxing and enjoying the day.
Meanwhile, as all of this was going on, across the bay in the city of Oakland, in a new state-of-the art, high-tech research facility that looked like the US Bank tower in LA, the girl entered through two huge glass sliding doors. The front lobby was huge with towering vaulted ceilings that had huge elegant chandeliers hanging from them. The floors were white marble as was the support columns also. Gold and silver accents adorned everything they could. There was a huge sign hanging on the back wall of the lobby. The sign said in huge backlit letters that changed color from red to green to blue to yellow to orange to violet “MACRO SCIENCE LABS”. The people and furries who worked in the building were responsible for promoting to the world the existence of and peace among macro creatures and humans. They accomplished this through online news forums, blogs, Pod Casts, online and traditional news papers, and other types of media. Their CEO-Chairman Mr. Rodney Smith was a calm and cool 32 year old individual. He often spent long hours in the main lab busy with the day’s agendas and schedules. He was born in a very wealthy neighborhood in Mumbai India. He moved to the United States in the 1990s and started Macro Science Labs after an encounter he had two years ago with a huge macro gray wolf named Dennis Dusty.
Dennis explained to Rodney about the plight of macro creatures and how the humans regarded and treated them. Rodney felt so moved by Dennis that two years after that first encounter, he created Macro Science Labs in order to promote good relationships among macros and humans. Rodney had many assistants working for him all of whom had special skills in subject matter as biochemistry, biology, marine-biology, zoology, and other fields of bio-related sciences. One of the assistants, a tall slender man by the name of Mr. Zoe Han had extra special skills in the field of bio-cloning. On the surface he was a very polite, calm, and caring man. He always wore his solid red neck tie no matter what other clothes he wore on for work. He always had a smile for everyone and everything.
However, he did have a very evil sinister dark side to himself that he let no one know. While busy working away one day he got an idea. His office gave him a perfect view of San Francisco and all its beauty. He then decided that he would have no more to do with San Francisco or any of the macros living there. He decided to conduct secret cloning experiments in which he would try to manipulate the behavior and emotions of clones. Not only that, but he would also try to enhance them with giving them super powers that enabled them to do things that to the average macro would seem super macro. He made several trips to San Francisco to carefully pick a target worthy of being cloned and then turning the clones against the target and the city itself.
He quickly dispatched his daughter, Sahara, to collect fur samples from the target and bring them back to the lab to be studied for cloning.
Rodney knocked on Han’s office door. He opened the door and found him typing away on his bright orange Dell laptop.
“Hello Mr. Han.” Rodney said as he was holding a tan folder filled with paperwork that needed to be looked over before lunch. Han abruptly stopped typing and looked up at him with a serious look on his face. His squinted facial expression quickly melted away as he stared at the thick folder.
“Yes, Mr. Rodney,” He finally said without taking his eyes of the folder.
“What can I do you?” He asked with a halfhearted smile on his face.
“Look through these files for me before you go on your lunch break. I need to know if you see any odd or unusual files in these.” He said as he laid the folder on Han’s desk. As soon as Rodney left the room Han quickly cleared the desk of everything except the folder. He opened it and began going through file after file after file until all the files had been gone through. Just as he was about to put the folder away, he flipped to a file that contained blue prints for a new unique type of cloning machine. He secretly slipped the file into another file in his drawer beside him. He then took the tan folder and wrapped a rubber band around it to keep it closed. He went to find Rodney and give the folder back to him.
He soon found him in the main lobby speaking to Rufus Roo about a problem he was having with the AC on his bright yellow 2005 Mazda RX8. He politely interrupted the conversation and handed him the folder. After thanking him, Rodney continued his conversation with Rufus. A few moments later and Rodney was back in his office relaxing with his shoes propped up on his desk. As he was relaxing, two loud knocks came to his door.
“Come in.” He said as he took his shoes off of his desk. The door opened and revealed a huge 6ft tan kangaroo with green eyes wearing a dark tan leather vest.
“Flinters.” Rodney said as the kangaroo entered the room. He opened a side drawer and gave the kangaroo two round red and white mints.
“Thank you Mr. Rodney sir.” He said as he pulled up a black work chair and sat down in it.
“Mr. Rodney, it has come to my attention that Mr. Han is spending too much time in the basement of the building. I am his assistant in all, but I’m growing very concerned over the time he’s spending in the basement. I’m worried that he might be doing something down there that might hurt the company or worse cause a riot among humans and macros all over the city and San Francisco. I would like to recommend that you go and speak with him and find out what he’s doing down there please.” Rodney rubbed his chin for a few moments in deep thought over what Flinters just told him.
“I have noticed that he is spending a lot of time in the basement. I’ve also noticed that he stole the file for a new unique cloning device that we were planning on building and showing off to the humans and macros through out the city. I just hope that he isn’t planning on building that thing before we do. With his unstable private mind, who knows what he’s capable of doing with that device.” He said in a worried tone.
“Flinters, I’m going to have you investigate Mr. Han while he’s in the basement for a few days, just to see what he’s up to. I’ll be assigning you a partner just in case things get ugly down there.” He said as he rolled over to a stack of folders in different colors with different people and furries names on them. He pulled out a bright yellow folder with a white tab on it. The name on the tab said, “Wally The Winged Wallaby”. He handed Flinters the folder. The folder felt heavy and looked thick.
“What do you think about working with him?” Rodney asked as Flinters was reading the wallaby’s profile information.
“He’s alright and seems like a good companion. I’ll work with him.” Flinters said as he closed the folder and handed it back to Rodney. He put the folder back in the stack then went over to his control panel. The control panel was a giant touch screen that could be used to access every part of the building. It could even be used to call someone by their cell phone or other portable calling device. He brought up Wally’s information on the screen. He then accessed his cell phone.
Wally The Winged Wallaby was eating a medium meat lovers pizza while on his lunch break. Many other furries and humans were also enjoying their lunch breaks also. As he was eating his last slice, Wally heard his cell phone begin ringing. He picked it up and answered it.
“Hello,” He said as he was eating. When he heard who it was, he dropped the slice back into the box it came from.
“I’ll be there in a few moments.” He said as he picked up his last slice and ate it on the fly. He soon arrived at Rodney’s office door. He knocked and waited.
“Come in.” Rodney said as he knew who it was. Wally came into the room and closed the door behind him. He saw Flinters sitting next to Rodney and an empty black work chair next to him. Wally sat down in it and listened as Rodney and Flinters briefed him on what was going to happen with him and Flinters.
“Do you know what kind of cloning device this thing is and what it does to clones?” He asked Rodney. He sighed.
“Yes, unfortunately I do. It is a machine capable of not just cloning macros for which it was designed for, but it can also be used to manipulate everything about them. Their height, weight, fur color, eye color, it can give them super macro powers like shooting lasers from different parts of their body, super strength to fight opponents twice their height and weight, and a whole host of other things that I don’t want to name or imagine him giving to them at all.” He said with a serious tone. Wally just stared at him for a few moments. He didn’t know what to say or do for the time being.
“My worse fear is that he could create an army of clones and dispatch them out into San Francisco to destroy the entire city and watch it burn to the ground.” Rodney added.
“Well Rodney, we will be going down into the basement to set up camp to observe Mr. Han for a few days.” Wally said as he and Flinters pushed their chairs back to where they found them. Just as they were about to close the door behind them, Rodney stopped them to give them a warning.
“Flinters, Wally, whatever you do down there, please be very careful not to make Mr. Han upset or let him know that he’s being watched. He’s not the kind of person you want to make mad or upset for any reason.” He warned them. They thanked him and headed toward the elevator that went down to the basement. After riding for a few moments, the doors opened to reveal another high-tech room. The room was huge. It measured 900ft high by 800ft wide. In the right corner of the room, they saw Han working on the cloning machine. The machine was in the shape of a tube turned upside-down that measured 400ft wide by 500ft high. The floors were cold steel and the room was filled with all kinds of different machinery. They saw Han putting the finishing touches on the cloning machine. Flinters spotted the blueprints on the corner of a desk that had a huge touch screen filled with many icons and symbols. He then spotted a jar with green fur in it sitting beside the blueprints. Wally remained quiet and silent as he watched Han.
Flinters and Wally slowly and silently moved across the floor and stopped at a spot in a dark corner where they began to set up their camp and observe site. After several minutes, they finally got their observation site ready to go. Over the course of several days, they watched as Han worked on the machine.
“Now that this machine is built, time to see what it can do.” He said as he took a pair of needle-nose pliers and picked up a single strand of green fur from out the jar and placed it on a small table beside him to his right. On a medium sized screen in front of him, the fur sample showed up along with all of the information about the creature the fur came from. The fur then changed to a 3D image of a green kangaroo with all parts of the image labeled for reference for cloning. He set the parameters for the clone to see how the machine would perform. After he checked all the settings he put into the machine, he tapped a blue triangle icon and the cloning began. After a few moments of tense waiting, a giant green 300ft kangaroo stood in the tube. The kangaroo looked similar to Duncan but its eyes were red instead of yellow and its claws were longer and it had special abilities that Duncan didn’t have.
The clone then stared down at Han and narrowed its eyes.
“Who are you!?” The clone demanded in an evil sinister manner.
“My name is Han. I am your creator. Your name is Bombay.” He said. He looked around the room. He then noticed the fur samples on the panel.
“What is in that jar!” He demanded.
“They are fur samples taken from another large green macro roo named Duncan.” Han said as he was holding the jar.
“Is that all that I am?! Am I just a copy of another roo?!” Bombay asked. Han could sense that he was getting angry.
“No! You are more that just a clone. You are modified by having your height, weight, eye color, paw nail length, and many other features about you made completely different from Duncan.” Han said as he tried to calm Bombay down.
“I may have been cloned from that roo’s DNA, but I will show you that I am nobody’s slave!” Bombay said. Bombay’s eyes changed color from red to yellow and began to glow. He shot a yellow laser beam and tried to melt the glass to get out and come after him. The beam bounced off the glass and dissipated into the floor. Bombay then began pacing around on the floor. He then stopped and stared at the left corner of the room. He switched his eyes from normal vision to night vision. He saw a tent with some supplies around it. Interested in what was in the tent, he switched his vision from night vision to inferred vision. Two images immediately became visible. Flinters and Wally now knew they were caught by Bombay. Han then wanted to see how controllable Bombay was.
He spoke to the tube and said, “Open”. A door on the tube opened and Bombay walked out and into the basement itself. Bombay’s ears began twitching quickly. They swiveled 180 degrees backward and tuned every other noise out except from the tent. Bombay then began to approach the tent to see what was inside it. His eyes, still in inferred vision, spotted two bodies sitting still trying not to move.
Flinters and Wally sat still as statues while Bombay was a few centimeters from their tent’s entrance. They could feel Bombay’s warm breath against the door flap. Flinters slowly reached for the inner zipper and slowly began to open the door. Bombay patiently waited. His eyes changed from inferred vision back to normal vision in anticipation of what was in the tent trying to get out. Flinters finally finished opening the door and his mouth fell open at the sight of Bombay’s face right at the tent door. Wally sat frozen with fear. They both couldn’t believe their eyes. Right in front of them was a huge, giant, green macro clone of Duncan that wasn’t anything like Duncan at all. He was taller, weighed more, had red normal eyes, longer nails, and different modes of vision and other unusual abilities.
Flinters and Wally stood up very slowly. Bombay backed up and allowed them to exit the tent. Once outside the tent, they got their first full view of the clone.
“Well, you’re a very impressive clone.” Flinters said as he was looking at Bombay from the tips of his ears to the tip of his tail. Bombay didn’t take that comment very well.
“Who are you?!!” Bombay demanded as he faced Flinters. Flinters cleared his throat.
“My name is Flinters.” He said to Bombay. Bombay then shot a glance at Wally.
“My name is Wally The Winged Wallaby.” Wally said without allowing Bombay to ask him. Bombay then walked over to their camp site and with three stomps of his right foot, destroyed the camp completely. Flinters and Wally could only watch in horror as their carefully set up camp was being destroyed. After using a metal rod to pick out the debris from his foot, he returned to confront Flinters and Wally once more.
“How long have both of you been down here spying on me?” He asked both of them.
“We weren’t here spying on you at all. We were spying on Han. Mr. Rodney sent us down here to see what he was up to.” Wally said. Bombay groaned. He turned away from them and focused his attention on Han, who was now running toward the elevator. His eyes changed color to violet and the elevator didn’t move when Han pushed the green button on the control panel.
“Where do you think you’re going?” He asked. Han was now terrified by the clone he created. It was not only turning out to be a huge mistake, but it also was turning out to be a huge danger to him.
“I have to go to the main floor and alert everybody what I’ve created down here! They have to know about you!” He said as he was almost to the emergency stairs that led to the main floor. A huge yellow energy ball formed in Bombay’s right paw.
“You’re not going anywhere!!!” He shouted as he threw the ball at Han. The ball quickly enveloped Han and trapped him inside. Flinters and Wally looked on in complete disbelief at what just happened. H grunted with a nod of satisfaction knowing that Han was going nowhere. Flinters then ran over to the sphere to try to free Han. When he put his paws on it, he was instantly electrocuted with a huge amount of static electricity. The more he pushed his paws into the sphere, the more electricity went surging through his body. Suddenly, a micro-burst of energy from the sphere threw him across the room and slammed him against a hard concrete wall. Han pulled out of his right pocket a small black pocket knife to try to cut him free from the inside. As soon as he pushed the knife into the sphere, he too was electrocuted by the sphere’s energy field.
“It is useless. Only I can get him out of that sphere.” Bombay said as he watched Wally try and fail to free Han.
“I demand that you free Han right Now!!!” Wally yelled at him. His eyes narrowed in anger.
“No one yells at me like that and gets away with it!!!” He said. His eyes turned violet and a violet orra formed around Wally. Wally couldn’t move at all. A burst of energy threw him into the sphere with Han. Bombay then focused his attention on Flinters, who was slowly getting up from the floor and regaining his balance. He hopped over to him and grabbed him by his tail and lifted him up 300ft in the air.
Flinters crossed his arms in anger.
“What do you want with me?!!” He asked him.
“You will go and tell all the others about me and bring them down here to see me.” He said as he put Flinters down. A few moments later, Flinters returned with all of the staff and workers. Bombay smiled as they came into the basement and gasped at the sight of him.
“Who are you?” Andy Riding Fox asked. Bombay fixed his glance straight at Andy. Andy felt terrified for his life.
“My name is Bombay Roo. I was created by Han as an experiment to see if that machine over there works. After seeing what I’m capable of doing, Han deemed me a threat, so I put him along with Wally The Winged Wallaby in a yellow sphere of energy until I let them out and find an appropriate use for them. I’m tempted to throw Flinters into the same sphere, but I’ll hold off on that issue until later.” He said as he looked at everyone. The crowd fell silent not knowing what to say or do for a few moments.
Karishad Fox spoke up.
“You look like just another toy worth playing around with. My plot against you has been set in motion and you will be taken down by a small fox.” He said while thumbing his nose at him. All the others ran and hid from Bombay after Karishad made his statement. They quietly watched him get confronted by Bombay, alone. Bombay quickly snatched him up and threw him into the same sphere to join Wally and Han.
“I’ll get you for this!!!!!” He yelled as he was flying toward the sphere. The others looked on in shock. Shaun walked up to him and asked,
“Is there anything nice and good about you?” Bombay stared down at him with disgust.
“No, there isn’t and there won’t ever be either. So don’t ask me that question again. Do you understand me?!!!” He snapped at him. Shaun walked away with his ears and head hung low. He felt like crying. The crowd looked at the yellow sphere with Han, Wally, and Karishad in it. Makki wolf stared at it for few long moments. She thought she could free them by ramming the sphere. She backed up to give herself a running start. She ran as fast as she could and rammed into the sphere with all her force. The sphere bounced on the ground like a basket ball but failed to break open.
The entire crowd each took their turn at freeing the trapped trio inside. OZ tried several powerful tail whacks but all of them failed and left him with a sore tail afterwards. Fender used Tie-Slam to try to free them. He leaped 10ft in the air, and with his blue tie glowing neon blue slammed it down on the sphere. The sphere cracked in several places, but the cracks were absorbed and the sphere remained. Dew Roo used his Iron-Tail attack to try and free them. He bolted 20ft into the air and with his tail glowing neon green, slammed it down on the sphere. The sphere again cracked in several places, but this time, the cracks stayed. Bombay was shocked.
“Impossible!! That’s impossible! I created that sphere! Only I should be able to get them out!” He said with a stunned look on his face. He then looked at the sphere. The sphere vanished leaving behind Han, Wally, and Karishad on the floor wondering what just happened.
“We’re free!!” They said in unison at each other.
“No you’re not,” Bombay said.
“I’m not letting any of you go. You and every furry in this state are my slave!! Any furry who refuses their overseers demands, does their work slowly, or disobeys their overseer, will be beaten!!”
“You can’t do this to us!!!!” Dizzie Wolf said.
“Yeah Bombay, we won’t let it happen!” Jaff Fox said as he finished his bottle of orange soda. Bombay became very angry with all of them.
“All of you will by my first slaves and there’s nothing you can do escape it either!!!” He yelled at them as he crammed all of them into a new sphere, this one the color of stop-sign red. He then turned his attention to the cloning machine. The crowd watched in horror as he began setting up the cloning machine to clone every individual strand of Duncan’s fur sample Sahara got for Han. Within several hours, and well into the night, Bombay cloned every single stand of fur that was in the jar. The result was several hundred thousand clones of all spectrums of personality about each of them. Each of the clones created had their own personality about them. When the last strand of fur was cloned, Bombay shut down the machine.
Sunrise the next morning revealed all of the clones standing at attention at the coastline facing San Francisco Harbor. Bombay stood in front of them on a rock he was using as a stool.
“Do you all see that city over there?!!” He asked them as he pointed to the Port of San Francisco.
“Yes master we do!!” They said in unison.
“You all will destroy the city and the only things you will leave alive are the furries. You will kill all humans you see!!” He commanded them.
“But first, you will return to Macro Science Labs and destroy the building while leaving only the cloning machine intact!” He told them. A huge, long piece of paper materialized in his right paw. He read the names of several clones. As each name was called, the clone went to the front of the building. After all of the names had been called, Bombay gave the command, and all the clones he named off the list went into the lobby and began trashing the place quite badly.
The trapped furries in the basement could hear the sounds of the building being trashed. They heard the sounds of glass shattering, doors being torn from their hinges and thrown across the lobby floor, and light fixtures being torn down and left where they fell. As they were wrecking the lobby, one of the clones, a 107ft clone with light blue eyes, named Togo, was getting second thoughts about continuing the destruction. He alerted the other clones that he was heading into the basement to completely destroy it. They let him go. He raced down to the basement and confronted the trapped furries.
“Shhh,” He said to them in a hushed calm tone.
“My name is Togo and I’m not like those other clones at all. I’m the rare nice kind one that Bombay mistook for being mean. I’m letting you all go. Don’t tell Bombay or else I’ll be spanked severely.” He said as he was dissolving the sphere. The furries were free and thanked him.
“Will you please join us as we search for Duncan and King Kangaroo and take Bombay down?” Andy Fox asked.
“Yes I will.” Togo said. He smiled at them with happiness and joy. His happiness soon melted into worry as he heard the destruction abruptly stop in the lobby.
“That’s not good.” He said as his worry turned into fear.
“Why is it not good?” Flinters asked with a hopeful look on his face.
“I told them that I would be down here destroying this place, not freeing you guys.” Togo said with despair. Flinters and the others thought quickly about what to do. They soon came up with an idea.
“Why don’t you destroy this place, and we’ll act like it’s real so that the others will think it’s real too?” Andy Fox suggested.
“I’ll do it. But I need you guys to make this seem real and convincing for when the other clones come down here. OK?” Togo said. The furries agreed and acted out to Togo’s destruction of the basement. He was just about finished when he heard the clones coming down the stairs. The largest clone, a 108ft clone with brown eyes named Edmonton, busted down the door with a swift punch using his right paw and was shocked at the amount of damage and devastation that Togo had done. He and the other clones were even more impressed when they saw the captive furries huddled together panicking in a corner.
“Well done Togo. There’s not a single piece of anything in here that’s not broken or damaged.” He said as he patted him on the left shoulder. He then looked over to the corner where the furries were cowering with real fear over him, and a fake fear over Togo.
“Well, we can’t have those furries running loose.” He said as a huge orange energy sphere was forming in his left paw. Just as he was about to throw the sphere, Togo grasped his arm and held it down as he explained to him that he would take full control and responsibility over the furries.
“I’ll go and inform Bombay about this issue.” He said as he dissolved the sphere back into his paw. Bombay was still at the dock with the other clones as he was giving them their sections of the city to be destroyed. Edmonton came behind him quietly and tapped him on his right shoulder. Bombay spun around to see Edmonton standing at attention in front of him.
“What do you want?!!” He snapped.
“Togo has chosen to take full control over the captive furries.” He said. Bombay glanced at him with disgust and annoyance. He agreed.
“That’s fine then. But give him this warning. If those furries make one wrong move on his part, he will be the first furry I spank severely. Make sure he understands that good and well.” He said as he put his mind back on the task at paw.
“Yes, Master Bombay, I will go and inform him now.” He said. He then went back into the basement and informed Togo about Bombay’s decision. Togo wanted to smile, but he didn’t now that he was in charge of the furries still in the corner. He then focused his attention on the furries still in the corner.
“Now is my chance to join them and take down Bombay, but I fear I can’t do this alone. I’m going to need a lot of help in this issue.” He thought to himself as the clones left the ruined basement. After the last clone left, he then whispered to the furries that the coast was clear for them to come out.
“Well, thank you all for making this a success for me and you.” Togo said to them with great joy. The furries thanked him for saving them from Edmonton’s energy ball.
“How are we going to get out of here with those clones and Bombay right outside the front door?” Rufus asked. Togo thought for a few minutes about that issue. He then presented his idea.
“I’ve got it,” He said.
“We could seek out of the back door and swim across the Bay to begin our search for Duncan and King Kangaroo.” The others thought about this plan. Danruk spoke up.
“If we do this, then we’ve got to be extremely quiet and not make a sound or else its back in this basement for us and a severe spanking for you.” He said. The others nodded their heads in agreement. OZ spoke up.
“Just one problem,” He said.
“How are we going to get to San Francisco Harbor without Bombay or his clones knowing?” Wally got an idea.
“We could send someone out as a decoy to distract him long enough for us to escape via the Bart system. It travels under the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. Bombay will never know it’s active.”
“That’s a great plan Wally, but now we have to figure out how to get on the Bart system itself without being caught by the high tech security cameras and staff members.” OZ said. He then thought of an idea.
“We could shrink down to the size of small micro furries and get in a kid’s backpack and have him or her get us on the train.” He said.
“That is an extremely risky plan to carry out, but if it will get us into the city without Bombay finding out, then lets do it.” Togo agreed.
“We’ll need a good decoy, someone who can fly at high speed and maneuver very well in a manner where all of Bombay’s attacks miss or hit the clones instead.” Andy Riding Fox said.
“That’s great in all but, remember that he has physic powers and also has inferred and night vision as well.” Flinters said as he was finishing a mint.
“I’ve got it…” Wally started to say before he was interrupted by Rufus.
“You will be the decoy and distract Bombay.” He said. The others nodded their heads in complete agreement. Wally began to worry because he had already experienced what Bombay was capable of doing with his physic powers. He wanted none of their plan to use him as the decoy. The others ignored his panic and hesitation and forced him into it.
While the others were making their way to the Oakland station, Wally was flying overhead when Bombay and the clones spotted him.
“Look Master,” one of the clones said as he eyed Wally,
“One of the furries is escaping from the ruined basement. Get him down and let’s torture him into telling us where the other furries are.” Bombay agreed and used his physic powers to attack Wally and bring him to the ground hard. Wally passed out from the shock of hitting the ground so hard. The others made it to the other side of the Bay safely and were awaiting word from Wally’s headset that he was on his way. Andy Riding Fox tried to access Wally’s headset, but all he picked up was static. OZ then filled himself up with air and floated high enough to where he could get a good view of what was happening on the other side of the Bay. He saw the clones huddled around Bombay. He saw Bombay looking at the ground. He then saw Bombay straighten up and in his right paw was Wally being held by his tail. He slowly deflated himself so he landed quietly on the ground and reported to the others what he saw.
“We have to send someone back over there to get him out and bring him over here.” Java said as he was sipping a small cup of coffee he bought from the nearby coffee store. Brang Roo, King Dead wolf, and Da Roo Plush all came forward.
“We would like to go back and get him.” They said. The others agreed and sent them back across the Bay to Oakland and Macro Science Labs. They found the building in total ruins and some offices completely destroyed. The Macro Science Labs sign that was hanging on the front wall was lying on the ground smashed. They heard loud screaming coming from the other side of the front wall behind the greeting desk.
King Dead put his right ear against the wall to get a closer listen. He heard Wally screaming in pain and panic. He then heard a lock snap shut and chains start to rattle. He took his ear off the wall.
“They have Wally in chains with a lock securing him.” He said. They then went around the left side of the wall to where a door was that led into the room.
“Look, they locked the door with a combination style lock!” Da Roo Plush said as he tried to figure out the combination to open it.
“Get back, I’m busting this door down.” Brang Roo said as he swiftly kicked the door in with his right foot. The door went flying across the room and slammed into a bottle full of sulfuric acid Ph level 2. The acid spilled all over the concrete floor and began forming a hole where the acid spill occurred. The clones looked at each other with shock on their faces. Edmonton walked to them. He turned to the clones that were cleaning up the broken pieces of glass from the shattered bottle.
“Release the wallaby now!! Get him out of here. He has given us all of the information we need.” He said with a half hearted smile on his evil face. The clones freed Wally and sent him with his rescuers back to San Francisco Harbor. When he arrived at the station, the others quickly whisked him away to the exit and outside the building.
“What happened to you?” Davemunk asked. Wally explained everything that happened to him while he was being held captive. The others were shocked and stunned to hear his revelations. They then knew that they had to find Duncan and King Kangaroo quickly or else it would mean the end of San Francisco and the state of California as they knew it.
Duncan Roo had left Hyde Park to see if people and furries needed his help. He walked along Vaness Avenue to see who was in need of help. He soon came upon an old man wearing suspenders and blue jeans and a fox who was wearing on a red T-shirt and blue jean shorts. They were struggling to put up a yellow aunning cover that would advertise their restaurant which served Chinese and Japanese foods. Duncan noticed them and asked if he could help. They agreed and he held the canopy in place while they fastened screws and nails into it to hold it in place against the wind. They thanked him and went inside the restaurant. Duncan continued walking down the street. After seeing that no more help was needed from him, Duncan then went to Pier 38 and sat down and dipped his feet in the water to relax and unwind.
He watched the many different kinds of boats go by. He saw small fisherman boats, huge tankers and cargo ships, nice and fine looking luxury yachts, and the lone fisherman or two. As he was watching all this, the pier began shaking softly then loudly. He looked over his left shoulder and saw King Kangaroo coming with his fishing net, tackle box, several poles, buckets, coolers, and other fishing supplies.
“Hello Duncan. How are you doing?” He said as he found a spot beside him and prepared his rod to cast off.
“All right I guess.” Duncan responded with a sigh. King Kangaroo abruptly stopped preparing his rod and set it down. He sat down beside him.
“Tell me Duncan, what is going on with you?” He asked.
“Well…” Duncan started to say before he was interrupted by yelling and shouting form behind him. He and King Kangaroo looked to their left and saw Fender and the captive furries racing toward them yelling and shouting, “Finally we have found both of you!!!” King Kangaroo turned and said,
“What do you want with both of us?” Panting heavily, Fender stopped and caught his breath.
“San Francisco and California needs both of you now!!” He said.
“All right, what is causing this great threat that you speak of?” King Kangaroo asked. Flinters spoke up. He explained everything that happened to them and he explained about Bombay and his army of clones. Duncan and King Kangaroo looked at each other and sighed. King Kangaroo then turned back to Flinters and said,
“If you say is true then…” He heard screaming, screeching tires, breaking glass, and crunching sheet metal, coming from the Golden Gate Bridge. He looked over in the direction of the bridge and saw a horrifying scene. Cars were slamming into each other on the bridge. He saw a huge green kangaroo stepping on the smashed cars. It then stopped and looked over in King Kangaroo’s direction. Its eyes narrowed as it focused its vision on the pier and the furries on it. It looked down at its feet for something to throw at them. It picked up a dark green Ford Cougar and a dark blue Honda Odyssey. It looked at both vehicles. It then took a second look and then threw the Cougar first. The car missed the furries and bounced off the dock and into the water. The car floated long enough for Brang to lift the car out of the water and place it on the pier.
Seeing that it missed its intended target, the giant green roo took the minivan and with all his might, hurled the vehicle straight at King Kangaroo and the furries. The minivan missed King Kangaroo and fell into the bay just off the end of the pier. He jumped into the water and rescued the sinking minivan and the humans inside. The roo watching this suddenly grew so angry that he started picking up many vehicles and started throwing them all at the furries. To the roo’s disappointment and great anger, all of them missed, but he got a big laugh as he watched King Kangaroo, Duncan, King Dead, Kelanni, Brang, and Da Roo Plush jump in and try to save all of those vehicles and the people inside them.
The group saved all of the vehicles and the people inside them. Fender looked at the roo from across the bay on the bridge and gasped.
“That’s one of Bombay’s clones!!!” He shouted as he and other furries looked on. The clone then jumped into the bay and began to swim over to them. It reached the other side and climbed up on the rocks and then onto the land. He stood up. This clone had orange eyes and emerald green fur. His height measured 104ft tall. He looked at all of the furries who were there. They looked back at him as well. He then felt something hit his tail. He looked behind him and saw a bright red Chevrolet Suburban with its front damaged and belching steam. He looked at it for a few moments, and then aimed his gaze straight at Flinters. He stared at him for a few moments already knowing what he was going to do. He picked up the vehicle and put down in front of him. Flinters got so excited thinking that he being given the vehicle to own. He grew even more excited when a white delivery truck carrying boxes full of mints came driving by. The clone stopped the truck and the driver scrambled out and onto the grass median. He watched as his truck was placed on top of the SUV. Flinters’s happiness quickly turned into a frown and he laid his ears back.
He watched in horror as the clone then stomped on both vehicles crushing them both until they were flat as pancakes.
“Why are you doing this?” Andy Riding Fox asked. The clone glared at him. Andy asked again. The cone continued to stare at him. Rufus had seen enough. He reached into his left pocket and pulled out a four sided tire iron. Using all of his strength, he threw it at the clone. The clone used his physic powers to stop the tire iron in mid air. It fell to the ground. Rufus ran over to pick it up. When he tried to touch it, the clone grabbed his tail and pulled him up 104ft off the ground. His glasses fell off his face and were caught by Flinters. He put them in his vest pocket then gave him the thumbs down sign to let him know they were safe. Wally flew up to Rufus to try to free him, but the clone used his thumb and pointer finger to flick him away. He slammed into the Pier 38 sign and knocked it down. OZ inflated himself up again and tried to free Rufus by grabbing onto his feet and pulling him out of the clone’s grip. The clone giggled then laughed at OZ as he tried to free Rufus.
After several failed attempts, the clone pinched OZ between his thumb and pointer finger. He then deflated OZ by squeezing him until all of the air came out of him in a big rush. OZ just laid on the clone’s thumb like a dead animal for a few moments while he was catching his breath. The clone dropped OZ to the ground. OZ quickly re-inflated himself, and just in time too, he bounced off his stomach and onto his back. He quickly deflated himself on his back and got up.
“Can you even speak at all? You pathetic clone you!!” The clone quickly shot an evil stare at OZ.
“Yes I can speak at least when I want to and to whom I want to speak to, you stupid fool. I prefer to speak to macros, not micros or normal furries.” He said with anger over OZ’s question and comment. Shaun walked up to the clone and asked the same question he asked Bombay.
“Is there anything good about you at all?” He asked. The clone grew furious with him.
“How dare you ask me that kind of question!!” He snapped at him. The clone quickly grabbed his tail and pulled him up 104ft off the ground. The smaller furries panicked. King Kangaroo quickly held out his left paw under Shaun.
“Drop him now!!!” He demanded.
“All right, I’ll drop him.” The clone said in a sarcastic tone. He dropped Shaun into his paw and he put him down on the ground safely. He then returned his attention to the clone.
“Now to deal with you.” He said as he reached out with his left paw and grabbed the clone’s neck. He pulled the clone toward him and posed his right paw over his face and extended his paw nails to two feet long. The others looked on in amazement at King Kangaroo’s strength and furiosity against the clone.
“Please, what ever you’re planning on doing to me, don’t kill me!” The clone panicked. King Kangaroo narrowed his eyes.
“Kill you?,” He said feeling amused by the clone.
“I have never killed anyone, and I don’t intend to either. But you, you will go and relay Bombay this message: If he wants to destroy the city of San Francisco, then he’s going to have to defeat me in battle first.” He let the clone go. The clone quickly ran back across the Golden Gate Bridge to Oakland. He met up with Bombay and relayed King Kangaroo’s message.
“Well if it’s a fight he wants, it’s a fight he’ll get. I’ve been waiting for him to say this. If I beat him battle, I’ll make him and Duncan both slaves as well.” He said as he walked over the rocks. He jumped into the bay and began swimming toward the pier where the furries were.
“King Kangaroo,” Duncan asked.
“Yes Duncan, what is it?” He responded.
“Why did you invite Bombay over here to fight you?” King Kangaroo wasn’t paying him any attention; He was staring off at the water. He noticed a green form coming toward the pier. When the others saw what he was looking, they all began to panic. Bombay sprang out of the water and headed straight for Duncan’s tail. He grabbed onto his tail and hurled him into the Bay. He swam back to shore and rested on the grass. The smaller furries quickly rushed to his aid. While they were busy with Duncan, Bombay was preparing a sphere. This one was a bright orange color and was made large enough to fit all of them into. He then used his physic powers to move everyone into the sphere. Everyone that is, except King Kangaroo. The others could only watch helplessly as King Kangaroo was left alone to fight a huge massive 300ft kangaroo.
“Finally,” Bombay said as he stared down on King Kangaroo,
“You have no idea how much I’m going to enjoy turning you into one of my slaves after I defeat you.”
“Now you’re going to see what kind of fighter I really am!!” King Kangaroo said as he prepared to fight. He extended his paw nails out to two feet. From the tip of his tail came a two foot long barb with large six inch hooks on it. The furries in the sphere were amazed at this weaponry. Bombay extended his paw nails and tail barb to four feet long.
Bombay struck first with a powerful blow to King Kangaroo’s stomach by his balled up left fist. The impact felt like he had the air knocked out of him hard and fast. It left him hunched over and in severe pain. Before he could stand up, he was met by Bombay’s right foot being slammed into his chest which sent him flying into the heavy stream of vehicles that was crossing the highway behind him. He slammed into many vehicles and many more slammed into him. He lay across the road knocked out from the impact of the many vehicles his head hit. The drivers and passengers of the wrecked vehicles looked at him with despair. They knew King Kangaroo as a robust roo who could take a major hit, brush it off, and fight back with an even harder force than his opponents.
But here he was, lying in the street, knocked out and bleeding a trail of blood. They began tending to his wounds. They got out rags, towels, and water and rubbing alcohol to treat what wounds they could. The people at his head were taking their water bottles and emptying them out over his eye lids hoping that he would open his eyes. After a few tense moments, he slowly began to move. He moved his tail, then his feet, next his legs, after that his paws and arms, next his neck and shoulders, and finally his head and ears. After he made sure he was able to continue fighting, the crowd of drivers, passengers, and by standards, cheered and clapped. He slowly stood up and began flexing his body. After a final head roll and ear swivel, he charged back into the fight with Bombay.
He came charging at him with his paw nails fully extended to six feet. He took two massive swipes at Bombay’s face, one on each side. Before Bombay could recover, he slammed his right fist into his chest and his left fist into his stomach. Bombay went flying backward and into the Bay. He created a wave that smashed a small fish shop to pieces and overturned several large fishing boats. The furries inside the sphere were now talking among themselves about what just happened.
“I can’t believe what just happened. He just knocked down a huge 300ft macro roo like he was nothing to him.” Andy Riding Fox said to Flinters, who was staring at King Kangaroo as he was standing on the dock waiting for Bombay to return so he could finish him off. As King Kangaroo was staring at the water tensely waiting on Bombay to resurface, he retracted his tail barb. The furries trapped in the sphere were talking among themselves while waiting for Bombay and King Kangaroo to continue their epic battle against each other. After a few tense moments of waiting, Bombay sprung out of the water and landed hard on the shore. His eyes narrowed sharply and he extended his paw and toe nails both to 6ft. He quickly rammed into King Kangaroo and sent him flying across the highway and slamming into an Acura dealership. Dozens of cars were smashed and crushed by his head. He tried to get up quickly, but he felt too weak to do so. As he was struggling to get up, Bombay quickly hopped over to him and grabbed by his tail. He hauled him up to eye level.
King Kangaroo struggled to get free from Bombay’s strong grip, but it was proving of no use. He tried curling up and biting his finger, but Bombay quickly used his left paw to dangle him instead of dropping him. He then slammed King Kangaroo down on his back knocking him out cold. He then threw him toward the Golden Gate Bridge and he landed in the center of the road deck span between the support towers. People and furs poured out of their vehicles and those using the sidewalks also rushed over to aid King Kangaroo. As the crowd of people and furs was using what they had to clean his wounds, Bombay quickly teleported himself, while carrying the furries with him, to the bridge and continued his battle.
“This is where our battle ends!!” He said as he grabbed his tail and dangled him 300ft off the ground. He struggled and tried to get himself free but it was of no use. He tried using his paw nails and scratching himself free, but that failed. He was about to give up when suddenly, a neon orange orra formed around him. He looked for the source of it and when he looked up above him he saw Togo hovering above him with the furies beside him.
“Hi there King Kangaroo. Just thought that you could use a paw getting down from there.” He said as he used his physic powers to release him and bring him down gently and softly.
“Thanks Togo. I could’ve used some help.” He said as he thanked him. Togo thanked him and quickly attacked Bombay with one of his many physic attacks. He anchored him to the bridge tower behind him and tried to hold him there. Bombay quickly used his physic powers to release himself and attack the furies that were all around him. He sent out a powerful shock wave of energy that blew all the vehicles off the bridge and into the Bay below. He then turned and focused on the furies in front of him. He then turned to view his captive furies he had in his sphere. He looked to the east and saw that the sphere was gone. He then grew extremely angry.
“Where are the furies?!! Where are they?!! I want to know right now!!” He yelled at the furies around him. He got so angry that he extended his paw nails to 4ft and readied them to attack any fur that didn’t answer.
“They’re under the bridge on some of the beams!” A gray wolf yelled out to him. Bombay teleported himself under the bridge to see and he was proven right. He found the furies hiding on several beams as they were trying to be extremely quite and not be spotted at all. Bombay instantly enclosed them in another sphere, this one a bright red and orange mix. He used his physic powers to land the sphere softly on the road deck of the bridge in front of King Kangaroo and the other furies. The sphere dissolved and the furies were back on solid ground once more. The furies started to talk among each other but, were quickly interrupted by Bombay.
“Now as I’ve told all of you before, you will be my first slaves and there’s nothing you can do to escape it!! You will from now on address me as Master. If I hear you address me as anything else, I will have my appointed servants beat you where you stand. If you want to do something, then you must ask either Master may I please do this or Master may I please do that. If you don’t, then I’ll see to it that you are beaten where you stand.” He said to them. They looked shocked and stunned at him realizing that he hadn’t forgotten about that. Suddenly, black collars of different sizes and designs formed in mid air in front of Bombay. The collars then zoomed for the furies and latched on to each of them in accordance to their neck size.
“If you try to take these collars off, you will be zapped with static electricity. I advise that you leave them alone. They will grow with you so that you will wear them on until the day you die. They are waterproof so that you’ll be able to bath and shower with them on as well.” Bombay told them. He looked at them with great disgust and annoyance. He then turned and looked at the remains of San Francisco.
