When Vide heard the doorbell ring, he was already in a bit of a mood... His stupid package was being bounced around for so many carriers! What should have arrived almost a month ago had taken a lot of fucking loopholes. It ended up that he had to contract a carrier out of the United Federation, who thankfully had a lot of money that he could afford to fly out to his hometown... As he approached the door, he tugged it open to look at... a deer? "Zipline Postal Service, got a package for ya," the cervid was rather blase, despite the contents inside. "Vide?" The echidna sighed, taking the package. "It's pronounced Vee-deh, but thanks..." He took the medium-sized box out from the deer, freeing him up, only to realize the other's uniform was... incomplete. "You lose your shoes or something?" He could understand the plight, as his boss had convinced him to start going barefoot. And man he hated trying to walk on these cobblestone streets with nothing protecting his soles... The smirk on the man's face answered otherwise, though. "Nah, I've never liked the damn things. Friend told me to just go for it and stop worrying about it... Seems you got a different case..." The deer's eyes drifted to his toes, but the sudden glint got the short male slightly heated. "But gotta say, you got a niiiice pair, shorty~ Bit of a nice package for me." The echidna scoffed, turning his head to hide the growing flush. Dammit, just how many people was he going to deal with that wanted his feet? "...Feh... whatever," he was pointedly ignoring the deer's flirtatious gaze. "Let me go get your payment..." He made to step into the living room, only to hear the older male stake an... interesting claim. "Mind if I give them a little attention? I'll cut your payment down~" Looking down, he had to bite his lip. This postman was hardly his type, but... considering how long he had to wait, was some footplay and a cheap discount worth it...? |
