Remove the riffraff, bad-company, and abusive actors from your life… And even if there is a fear of a future outcome that holds you down from moving forward with your life, do yourself something amazing… Overcome, make yourself happy first, share that happiness with those of your family/friends you hold dear. This hits home for me. Talk about some familar feelings here. I'm dealing with unpacking all yhe lies and bs and reparenting myself. This helps me feel a little stronger in doing it. Cuz I remember what my folks put me through, and that like anyone else, I deserved better, and nobody deserves to go through hell and never understand love. At least mom seems like she's ready and willing to there for him even more, and would let go of dad. My mom never did. It's nice to see a different outcome.
