Aleu, the Western & Atlantic Railroad’s Chief Mechanical Engineer, and Chief, the railroad’s Division Superintendent are the best of frenemies. Both are very skilled in their work, both know their stuff, and both couldn’t be more unlike one another. One is a grizzled railroader who has seen and done it all, the other a young upstart with incredible knowledge and passion for her work. The two have the same goal: run the railroad. But how they do it is unique to each one and they often butt heads in the process.
While it might appear on the surface that they dislike, or even hate, one another…well…there are stories.
