In Japan, there is a day of celebration for girls called the Dolls' Festival.
On this day, people light a lamp called Bonbori, eat sweets called Hishimochi, and drink alcohol called Otoso.

Here's a slightly more erotic version

otoso? ive never herd of it, is it a occasional alcoholic beverage or is it available all year round?
have you ever had it?
does otoso have a meaning? or is it just a name?

wikipedia only had a page for Japan.

This sake is only drunk in Japan on special occasions (New Year's, weddings, and other celebrations), and many Japanese sake lovers have never had it.
(It is possible that only those familiar with old Japanese Shinto rituals know the true meaning.)
