This is Gary, who appears back in my gallery a couple of times. He and his BFF, Rocco, have been pressed into service in the thing Ribnose and I are slowly doing.
My version of him here is in the 6th grade and likes sports. Almost the exact opposite of everything I was at the time. XP
But there's more to it than that.
Gary became Rocco's next-door-neighbor because his family blew up like a hand grenade when he was 4. His aunt and uncle took him in, and doted on him to the point of preoccupation. So he's turned out okay so far. ^^
As such, he and Rocco have known each other most of their childhood.
He's been playing drums since he was 6.
He's been running around with some kind of ball in his hand since before that.
Thanks to Rocco, he's been exposed to a variety of other cool elemental things, like art and nature and suchlike.
He seldom reads, though. And his appreciation of art is limited to "lookit the pretty picture". But at least he's exposed to stuff like that. Rocco tries. 9_9
Oh, and he likes Monty Python, too. But usually the bits where people blow up and Terry Gilliam's stoopid cartoons and all that. ^^
