The two girls got up and walked together through the crowd until they reached the sidewalk, then they walked along the edge between the sand and the pavement looking at the beautiful sunset over the sea.
They were appreciating the scenery sitting on the sidewalk until the annoying voice of a boy interrupted their moment of peace.
??: Well, well, well, look who we have here.
The girls turn their heads quickly to look back and freeze as they see Lucas with his two footmen standing behind them.
Becky: Get lost you fool!! (She instinctively screams)
Lucas: Hey, why so aggressive?
Lucas: (Smiles mischievously) I was just saying hello.
Becky: Well you already did, now leave us alone.
Lucas: You're nothing to tell me what to do.
The cat boy walked closer to the girls and looked at Izzi.
Lucas: Where is your stupid brother?
Izzi: What do you care, we came alone.
Lucas: It's a shame, I wanted to settle some unfinished business with him.
Izzi: Didn't you have enough when my mom and dad went to school to call your parents?
Lucas: That's why I want to retaliate against that idiot.
Lucas: Because of that jerk I got suspended from school for a month and my parents sent me to my grandparents' filthy farm.
Lucas: I was cleaning the shit out of the stables for whole a week.
Lucas: All the time I was in that place was because of an idiot spoiled by his parents and who doesn?t know how to defend himself.
Izzi: You shouldn't have shown up that night and almost killed my brother.

Lucas: But the cockroach was never alone, he was always accompanied by that stupid fox and that rabbit-squirrel whatever that freak was.
Lucas: But now that I found you and he's gone, I could settle for venting my frustration on you.
The cat looks at the leopard cub and tells him to catch Izzi, when the cub tries to pin her down she manages to kick him in the balls rendering him immobile.
Becky: Serves you right, bastard.
Lucas: (Laughs) You're tough, aren't you?
The cat approaches Izzi but she threatens to hit him in the face if he keeps coming closer, at that moment the hyena cub takes advantage of the distraction and catches her from behind immobilizing her.
Becky: LET HER GO, YOU COWARD!!
Backy tried to help her friend but the cat grabbed her tail and pulled her back.
Lucas: You stay out of this if you don't want to join the party with them.
Lucas pointed to his lackeys, Becky looked at them unable to help her best friend, the only thing she could do was to look at her friend with her eyes full of tears.
Backy: Please, forgive me Izzi.
The raccoon ran away leaving the dingo cub helpless before the three puppies.
Izzi with tears in her eyes watched her best friend run away abandoning her to her fate.
Izzi: Becky... (Her voice broke).
Lucas: (Laughs) That's it, run, run and don't come back bitch.
Leopard: Should I chase her?
Lucas: No leave her, I already have what I want, besides I like to see the face of betrayal that the dingo has right now.
Lucas approaches Izzi, she struggles to get free but the hyena cub tightens his grip so that she can no longer move her arms.
Lucas unsheathes his claw and caresses Izzi's face with his claw.
Lucas: You'll pay for what your idiot brother caused, but it would be a shame to ruin your beautiful face.
Lucas: So I'll just have fun with you, for our luck there's still some sunlight left.
Lucas: And there's no one on the beach, so we have the changing rooms all to ourselves.
Izzi: You wouldn't dare, you can't possibly be that kind of person.
Lucas: You think I'm not, so far three stupid girls and a know-it-all boy have given me their virginity.

Katherine, Becky and David run to where Izzi was and the two girls start pawing at the hyena cub's back to get him to let go of Izzi, the boy started laughing at the girls' attack but at that moment David kicks him in the shin.
The hyena cub squealed letting go of Izzi and walking away from her while rubbing his leg, the leopard cub tried to confront the girls but David stood in front of him growling at him, the leopard laughs and when he was about to push the little German shepherd Katherine gives him a hard slap on the chest knocking him out of breath.
The boy recoiled rubbing his chest and gulping in gasps of air, seeing him knocked out Katherine high fives her little brother.
Becky: (she approaches Izzi) Are you okay Izzi?
Izzi: B-Becky? (She stutters).
Becky: I beg you to forgive me for leaving you, it was the only way.
Becky: I had to go get help, and so I went to get them, and then I ....
Izzi interrupts her friend by giving her a big hug.
Izzi: Thank you so much, you saved me, you are the best friend in the world.
The raccoon hugs her friend, after a few seconds the two separate, Izzi looked around until she found her brother standing in front of Lucas, the cat cub was leaning on the palm tree trying to get up.
Izzi: TAY!!!
Tay turns around and looks at his twin, half of his soul.
Tay: Are you okay sis?
Izzi: I'm better than ever.
They both smiled and moved closer so they could hug each other, but at that moment Lucas grabbed Tay's arm spinning him around and then punching him hard in the face, Tay staggered a little but was able to stand, Izzi froze at that moment.
Tay looked at the floor for a few seconds until he looked up, Izzi could see some blood coming out of his lip.
Tay: Izzi, go with Katherine and Becky. NOW!!
Izzi: Br- Brother? (She stammered)
Tay: ISABELLE, GO TO KATHERINE AND BECKY. NOW!!!
Izzi ran next to Katherine, Becky and David, then they all moved a little away from the two boys.

The cat cub hissed menacingly at the dingo cub who was about to fight him.
Tay felt his body start to feel lighter thanks to the rush of adrenaline that began to flow in his blood, his vision, hearing and smell also became sharper, it was as if the survival instincts of his ancestors were now manifesting.
Time seemed to slow down for a few seconds, Tay looked for a few moments at the girls, they looked scared but the most scared at that moment was David, he was in the middle of the girls hugging his sister with tears in his eyes.
Tay: "As much as I want to smash this asshole's face in, I can't do it".
Tay: "I don't want my little brother to be afraid of me when he sees me hitting another kid."

The cat fell backwards, hitting his elbows, Tay saw him, smiling and adjusted his position placing his arms close to his face defensively.
Tay: "I know what I have to do and it will be a little easy to hurt him without much effort".
Lucas stood up very angry and started throwing punches and kicks at Tay, he was able to dodge and block most of the attacks, some managed to hit him but Tay stood his ground undeterred.
Tay took advantage of Lucas' momentum or carelessness to make him stumble and throw him to the floor, after falling for the fifth time, Lucas got up at the same moment and threw himself against Tay trying to hit him with his fist but Tay managed to dodge it and hooked his foot on Lucas' feet making him fall face first on the floor.
Lucas stayed on the ground for a few seconds until he got up, Tay looked at Lucas' face, he was badly beaten and blood was coming out of his nose.
Lucas felt the liquid coming out of his nose and wiped it with his paw, when he saw it he could see the blood between his fingers.
Lucas: "This is impossible, how is it possible that someone so weak, cowardly and very stupid could be beating me".
Lucas: "Something has changed in him, it's as if he were someone else".
Lucas: "Still I can't allow him to defeat me in such a humiliating way."
Lucas: "If everyone at school finds out that Taylor McIntosh, the weakest and stupidest kid in school, was capable of beating me up, I'll be the laughing stock of everyone".
Lucas: "No one will respect me anymore and they won't be afraid of me anymore".
Lucas closed his paw and looked at his lackeys.

The leopard cub and the hyena cub pounced on Tay, the dingo cub tried to defend himself and shake them off without success, he was too tired and beaten to be able to do it. The two cubs grabbed Tay by the arms and pinned him down in front of Lucas.
The girls tried to defend him but Lucas threatened them by showing his claws.
Lucas: IF YOU COME CLOSE I WILL CUT HIM WITH MY CLAWS, AND I WILL CUT YOU TOO!
The three girls backed away intimidated by the feline's ferocity.
Lucas stood in front of Tay and lifted her head pulled her hair.
Lucas: Look at me stupid, I'm amazed you were able to hurt me.
Lucas: But, I never lose in a fight and I hope that's very clear to you.
Tay spits in Lucas' face, the cat wipes his face in disgust and gives him a powerful punch in the stomach, Tay remained motionless and breathing heavily.
The two boys release him and Tay falls to the ground in a ball, Izzi runs to the place where her brother was to try to help him, Becky goes after her. Instead Katherine runs and pushes Lucas away from Tay.
Katherine: YOU'RE A BITCH!!!
Katherine tries to hit the cat but it catches her hands and stops her.
Lucas: Is he your boyfriend? (He laughs evilly).
Lucas: It's a shame that a pretty girl like you would be interested in someone like him.
Katherine: GET OFF ME!!! and leave him alone you bastard.
Lucas: I will, only if you give me a kiss and let me touch you.
Lucas tries to kiss her by force, David heard his sister's moans and tried to defend her by grabbing the cat's tail.
David: Let go of my sister, you FOOL!
Lucas: You stay out of this, midget.
Lucas kicks David causing him to fall backwards on the ground, David lay on the floor and started crying while covering his face with his hands.
David's crying and Katherine's pleas reached Tay's ears, he lifted his head with effort to see what was happening.
The scene he saw impacted him completely, Katherine was struggling trying to free herself from Lucas' grip and David was on the ground crying, at that moment something ignited inside Tay, he began to feel fire in his gut, a great anger began to take over the dingo puppy, Tay knelt down completely forgetting the pain he felt a few moments ago, looking around he found a thick piece of wood on the sand, he stood up and went to pick up that piece of wood, then he advanced a little until he was close to his sister.
Tay: I'm going to kill him (He said with a deep voice and very angry).
Izzi: Tay wait, don't do something stupid.
Izzi grabs her brother's arm stopping him but Tay stared at her, she looked at her brother's eyes, his eyes were red from the anger he had at that moment.
She let go and backed away awkwardly until Becky stopped her by hugging her, that was the first time Izzi felt afraid of her brother.
Tay continued to move forward as he dragged the club, the hyena cub and the leopard cub saw him and stepped in front of him to block his path.
Tay looked at the cubs and opening his mouth slightly he growled at them showing his teeth in a threatening manner, the two cubs turned pale at the sight and moved out of his way very scared, Tay continued walking slowly until he was close to his target, as he was about to grab Lucas's arm Katherine could see what was going to happen. She stomped with all her strength on the puppy cat's foot and managed to free his right arm, wasting no time she slapped Lucas hard.
The sound of the blow echoed in Tay's ears, he stopped in surprise, his great anger had disappeared as if nothing had happened, David saw Tay, got up and hid behind him.
Sensing the little puppy holding his tail and shirt, Tay held the piece of wood like a bat, ready to defend him from anything.
Katherine: That's for trying to hurt me!!!
Katherine released her left arm and slapped him again with the same force.
Katherine: That's for trying to hurt Isabelle.
Katherine slapped him even harder with her right arm and the cat fell to the ground from the force of the blow.
Katherine: And that's for hitting my beloved boyfriend!!!
Lucas looked at Tay's shadow on the ground and looked up to see him, Tay was there, standing with his mouth open and holding the big piece of wood like a club.
Lucas: "Taylor is going to hit me with that, does he want to kill me?" (He said to himself).
Lucas was very terrified and tears were starting to come out of his eyes, at that moment Katherine grabs Lucas by his shirt and lifts him up with one pull, she looked at the scared kitten with satisfaction and raises her fist in a threatening way.
Katherine: Now get out before I show you what a red belt in taekwondo can do.
Katherine let go of Lucas pushing him, he falls to the ground again. Tay still couldn't get over his surprise and as he looked at them he dropped the stick without realizing it.
Lucas runs away crawling a little then he gets up and runs bumping into some boys who were passing by, the boys saw Lucas crying while he was running with his two lackeys who were behind him.
The boys laugh at what happened and were able to recognize the twins, they approach the siblings still laughing.
Boy: That was Lucas who left crying, wasn't it?
Katherine: Yes.
Katherine looks at Tay for a moment.
Katherine: Taylor beat him up and they left in a panic (she starts laughing).
Boy: Really? (He said very surprised).
Katherine: Yeah, they should have seen it, they even begged her not to hit them anymore.
Boy: Cool, you rock Taylor, I can't wait to tell everyone at school, they're going to be open-mouthed.
Mrs.: Guys, we are leaving.

Trying to keep his composure the cub nodded trying to smile.
Corey: C- Cool, then I'll wait for you at practice (He said almost unable to speak).

They both look at each other for a few seconds.
Izzi: Let's go get something to eat in the school cafeteria.
Corey: O- OK, I'll follow you.
Izzi stands up, takes Corey's hand and they walk to the door, when they opened the door they met Becky and Tay in the hallway (both pretended to be chatting) Tay looked at them and gave a friendly wave to the couple, then Izzi walked to Backy's side holding Corey's hand, Corey looked at Tay, he was smiling and giving him the thumbs up, the fox smiled returning the gesture.
Izzi and Corey chatted and laughed together until recess was over, the rest of the days they both met to practice the choreography of the play and so little by little they were reinforcing the mutual love they felt and on the day of the play they ended their performance with a real kiss, it was the first real love kiss for both of them.
Izzi felt as if she was in a fairy tale and now she was with her beloved prince who saved her from loneliness more than once.
Summer vacation finally arrived, the McIntosh family and the Morales family agreed to go camping near the lake in the national forest, when the day came to leave the two families traveled in their cars, after three hours of travel they finally arrived at the national forest, when they finished taking the things out of the pick-up, they secured the cars and began their walk through the forest.
As they drove into the forest Tay looked at the parking lot wondering whose other car was there when they arrived.
The two families walked around singing and laughing, sometimes stopping to rest and appreciate the scenery, when they reached a clearing in the forest they started to take some pictures joking with each other, it was a beautiful family moment.
After walking for 15 minutes they finally arrived at the lake, they carefully observed the shores of the lake and chose the perfect place to camp, the two families got down to work, while the adults were setting up the tents the cubs were looking for firewood for the campfire.
As they walked away from the campsite, Katherine, David and the twins heard a splash in the lake and then the laughter of two boys, the four of them approached through the bushes to see who they were.
As fate would have it the other family camping near them were the Michaels, David howled with joy when he saw the other boys playing and revealed their hiding place, the two adult foxes saw them and after exchanging a few words for a moment the foxes accompanied the children to their campsite.
The Michaels met the McIntosh's and the Morales's, after a warm welcome and some laughter the three families decided to camp together, after finishing setting up camp the three fathers enjoyed a nice conversation while fishing, the three mothers prepared some food while talking about their husbands, their children and so on while laughing with each other.
David and Devon were playing with twigs, clashing like swords and chasing each other; Corey, Izzi, Tay and Katherine were playing in the water with a beach ball.
When it got dark everyone gathered to eat, by nightfall the three families were enjoying the warmth of the big campfire while telling stories and anecdotes.
A few minutes later Gonzalo began to play his guitar, delighting those present with his voice and the voice of his daughter.
Tay was very happy, he looked at his sister hugging Corey and sharing a blanket, then he looked at David who was roasting marshmallows with Devon, he looked at his mom and dad they were very happy and accompanied the singing by clapping their hands.
Tay looked around him, all these people are now his family, he knows he can trust everyone and they will never leave him.
Tay: "I knew the pain that loneliness brings when you think you have nothing left in this world".
