~ Flint's eyes slowly opened as he moaned from the slight pain in his head as he tried to get his bearings from the last moments he remembered, light breeze rustled his fur as he realized he was all fluffy, whatever he was lying on was soft and comfortable, there was a pillow beneath his head so he must be in some sort of bed, though he wondered why he was all fluffy. Then suddenly he felt hands grasp his leg just by the knee as intense pressure pounded his leg, Flint closed his eyes as he was bracing for pain but the sensation didn't bring it, instead it was almost rejuvenating, he opened his eyes to see a young girl, who looked no more older then him pressing her hands against his leg. "Ah so you are awake" the girl said as their eyes met, Flint just remained still as his nerves started to kick in until a feeling of embarrassment set in as the realization of his fluffyness in front of her set in and he tried to cover up but had a hard time moving his limbs, "hey settle down now, I haven't finished repairing your broken bones yet" the girl said as she noticed the redness on his face, "you are a weird one, you fell thousands of feet and the thing you are worried about is your fluffyness?" "Wait I fell thousands of feet?" Flint asked in a shocked tone as the expression on his face changed as much, "yes but don't worry, this is no hell" the girl said as she made a small laugh while pressing her hands against his leg once more with the pressure returning, "what exactly are you doing then?" Flint asked curiously. "You don't' know?" the girl asked puzzled as Flint shook his head, "thought you would being adept to Gaia..." the girl started saying before she was cut off, "adept to Gaia? What do you mean by that?" Flint cut in, "are you not able to control the earth and weave creation?" the girl asked as Flint once again shook his head while giving her a puzzled look, "strange, as that would be the only way you could of survived falling this far down, as your element cannot kill you but can still injure if the right amount of damage is applied, you sure you cannot use earth psynergy?" she asked once more. "No, unlike my friends, I don't have a power I can use yet, I don't know what I am adept to" Flint responded as the girl laughed, "well you figured out that part today, you are an earth adept, one bound with Gaia" the girl said as she continued her work fixing up Flint's injuries, "well then what I am doing is applying large quantities of gravity on your bones to help them fuse back together, compiling my outward psynergy with your inert psynergy to create a reaction that can mend you up, this only works between Gaia users though which is why I thought you had experience with earth psynergy but I guess it can also work on the unawakened if they are adept to it" the girl continued. "Unawakened?" Flint said as the girl smiled, "you don't know that concept either? well you are a strange one, but I guess it can be expected from surface dwellers" the girl replied, "surface dwellers?" Flint asked as the girl laughed once more, "like I said you fell thousands of feet, where do you think you are?" she said as Flint pondered a moment, "well if I fell into the gorge from up on the mountain, I must be inside the mountain then" he responded as the girl shook her head, "not just under the mountain, but far beneath that, we are in the lands of the depths below, a world created by the descendants of Gaia's domain" the girl replied as she finished up her work, "there you should be able to move a bit now but still be careful, your body is still a bit bruised and weak."
"Thanks" Flint said as he sat up and raised his hand to the girl, "Flint" he said, "my name is Flint", "Celestus" the girl said taking his hand and helping him to his feet before she went to a nearby shelf and grabbed some garments that were laying on it, along with a familiar bow and quiver, "here you should get dressed" Celestus said as she handed Flint an outfit that looked similar to what she was wearing, "most of the clothes you had on were torn to shreds when we found you, only really your bow and quiver survived" Celestus continued as Flint took the clothing and then gave her a look. "Don't worry I won't peek" she said and she turned away from him, Flint quickly got dressed, surprised on how well the outfit had fit him, "ok done" Flint said as he placed his quiver and bow over his back. "You look really good in that outfit, like it is natural on you" Celestus said as Flint signaled to her he was done changing, "Are you sure you are not from here by chance?" "No I am not, and frankly" Flint started replying, "I don't know what here is" he continued as Celestus grabbed his arm and attempted to lead him through the door but stopped when Flint winced in pain as she slowly helped Flint hobble out the door of the room and out of the small building they were in, Flint could see he was in some sort of underground cave which made sense from Celestus saying they were in the lands of the depths below. Following Celestus down the dimly lit road, the sound of water moving came to Flint's ears as the stream below them on the path moved faster, they rounded the bend as Flint eyes widened at what he saw in front of him, "welcome to the underground city of Geo" Celestus said as she placed a hand on Flint's back as he held onto his arm which was in some pain from being pulled along, "it is a small steam powered settlement more reminiscent of the days of Gaia's domain about the grounds, not as advance or bustling as the steam metropolis of Auger but more warm and quant" she continued as Flint stepped forward to get a better view, "now I know what you said before but are you sure you have never been here before? Because you look so much like..." Celestus started saying before Flint cut it, "no, like I said I have never been to the depths below, I am just a tribal fennec from the valley of Eios in Norland, under the watch of Elder Ember..." Flint started saying as he cut in but Celestus took his hand once more and pulled him along into the city, "did you say Ember?" Celestus asked as they entered the city, "yes, why?" Flint asked as he hobbled trying to keep up with the girl pulling him along as they stopped in front of a rather large pillar with a staircase leading up to some sort of large building out croft above, "because if what you say is true, then there is someone you should meet as... I believe you are a Geo after all" Celestus answered as she started walking up the steps as Flint continued to pause and think on her words, she said he is a Geo but what did she mean by that? Noticing that Flint was not following her, Celestus turned around and stared back at Flint who looked back at here "well aren't you coming?" ~
