Fun Facts!
● Figment isn’t actually dragon. They are a species called a Cankiadrid. They don’t reveal what they are since technically the species doesn’t exist in this plane of reality.
● The Cankiadrid species are false shape shifters. They weren’t born with the ability to shape shift. After their world started falling apart, they used Magiks to give them the ability. It worked, but it was flawed and caused genetic mutations not previously present in the species.
● Figment is a absolute hot mess of mutations. They have a pretty extreme over bite, and all mutations related to the shape shifting spell. While the color mutations have become seen as attractive and exotic, the overbite and sclera are much less desirable traits. As a result, they often struggle with their body image.
● The ability to shape shift is not in born. While all Cankiadrid have the ability to learn how, it’s a skill that not all master. Figment never perfected the technique. When ever they shift there is always something from their original form that carries over. Usually her purple hair or their fangs/overbite. For shits and giggles, Figment has been known to shift into creatures with out changing their base fur colors. This leads to some silly results.
● All Cankiadrid are natural magik/mana users. Abilities vary greatly, but all can use their magik “fire” breath to some degree. The fire can have what ever effects the user desires depending on the users skill. Some effects include burning, healing, & cold. The color of a Cankiadrid’s magik/mana is linked to the most common aura color. Auras constantly shift in color, but Figment always has a tinge of purple present. As a result, their magik is purple.
● Figment's home universe is in constant threat of erasure due to a war on their planet thousands of years ago. Almost all history on the event has been lost or purposefully hidden. Since then, all remaining Cankiadrid live in a single floating city in what remains of their shattered dimension. No other fauna, sentient or otherwise survived the event. All live stock is relocated from other dimensions. By all accounts, their dimension should no longer exist. Magik is all that keeps whats left together. A constant flow of new mana must be supplied to the spell maintaining what remains of the dimension and floating city.
● Figment is known as a Collector. A Collectors job is to hop between dimensions and collect excess mana by interacting with the inhabitants. Once enough mana has been collected, they return to their dimension and use the mana to keep what’s left of their world stable. Due to their magik and ability to dimension hop, Figment and their species would be considered “god tier/OP” in many realities. Most use this to their advantage, but Figment finds it boring. They created a “hard mode” spell that binds them to the first form they take in that world. It also limits their use of magik to similar of what ever universe they are in. This spell can be circumvented in extreme situations, but to do so causes them to expend all collected mana and most of their own. If a Cankiadrid ever runs out of mana, they die.
● Some of Figments favorite alternate realities to travel to are Undertale, Pokemon, and My Little Pony.
Personality
● Pretty easy going.
● Loves to talk. Has a hard time knowing when to stop.
● Loves to chill with friends, but needs time to defrag/regroup after each hang out.
● Quick to anger
● Suffers from extreme anxiety and PTSD so can sometimes be extremely shy or reclusive
