It's been a while, hasn't it?  Anyway, here's the eighth page of Welcome to the Next Level, with Elle scouring the local garage sales for the elusive toy Kai-Andri (or is it Kai-Andra?).

My neglect of this site has really come back to bite me in the ass.  My pictures used to make it to the "popular" section of InkBunny, but these days, I'm lucky to reach two hundred hits.  Oh well, I've always preferred blending into the crowd anyway.

This is exactly what I do; scour garage sales and thrift stores for things I couldn't get as a kid :P

Oh yeah, absolutely. I'm still guilty of this, although the kinds of things I want have started to dry up. Nintendo 64 games are going for outlandish prices, probably due to misplaced nostalgia for the system.

I've had some serious luck now and then, like finding a toy spaceship from the movie Independence Day and Tyrant from Resident Evil. I always wanted those as a kid and years later I stumble across them for practically nothing. The closest I ever got to finding old game stuff was an original Nintendo clear-pink game case (I'm sure you know the type I mean) for 50 cents, mostly everything else was junk or overpriced.
