Been a bit since I dabbled in AU OCs hasn't it? Well here, have my version of a Shadow Android! Thanks to seeing the works of The_Hydroxian (Jeff) and DreamfulBlue (bunch of 'em), I decided to make my own.
Normally, Shadow Androids are melted for scrap or kept in storage for attacking when needed, especially if they are defunct. But this lucky drone escaped such a fate since the entire base was abandoned. Emerging from his capsule and exiting into the world, he located the earliest source of biological life he could find, which turned out to be a human.
The man was a chili dog vendor, a bit of a rising star up against the popular Don Fachio's franchise. With no directive set for him, the lost android followed after the human, noting the way he interacted with people. Seeing the effect he had on people, he began to help out, having nothing else to do. Thanks to having a literal computer in his brain, he was able to pick up the craft in record time, and seemed to imprint on the vendor as well.
Seeing this drone had no home of his own, the vendor decided to take him under his wing and essentially adopted him, giving him the name Torrone due to the color his stripes reminding him of the nougat candy.
In time, Torrone would do further research to improve customer service skills, soon learning that some sapient animals would discard their shoes and gloves to show a friendly, outgoing nature, so long as they wore something else. So baring his feet and hands, he donned a shirt, apron, and hat to match his human partner.
Torrone isn't a complete Shadow Android, meaning he lacks certain abilities. He cannot perform offensive forms of Chaos Control, only the base form to slow down time if things get busy or there is a crowd. Since he is barefoot, his running speed is slower than the likes of Sonic and his fellow androids, but he is still incredibly quick and has lightning-fast reflexes.
Thanks to his more customer-service oriented personality, coupled with the same voice as the original, Torrone is seen as a very charming individual, though he can still find ways to deal with less friendly patrons.
He also enjoys customers who flirt with him, able to make retorts in kind thanks to his research.
