I thought I'd try drawing Glen Keane's Adam Raccoon character. :3
This card is a bit smudgy, as it's of my first attempt at drawing the character. I erased his head, then redrew it---I also drew his tail and close arm at least three times; I couldn't commit to a look I liked (the pose is original for the subject, so far as I know).
I'm almost tempted to describe this as a 'Ferret-style' drawing, as I don't think I got the proportions right. No matter---I needed an upload and I generally suck at art anyway. :p
Adam Raccoon is the lead character of a series of Christian children's books of the same name. The 'Adam Raccoon' stories were often based on parables of Jesus.
I used to have a couple of these books ...a quick search revealed nothing (they may have been donated during the last purge---I cannot recall as it's been a while), but if I find them, I'll read one on YouTube. :3

The featured pencil is the 'Regal' by Eagle Pencil Co. I chose it because 'The King's Big Dinner' is one of the better 'Adam Raccoon' stories. ^^

Eagle sure did make a lot of different pencils. SO many in fact that I've never heard of most of them. The only ones I do know of are my old Colored Pencil sets that have them and Prismacolor sets mixed together. Some day I should sort them out as there are colors there that aren't made any more.
