I grew up with the original show, too. All this backlash against them being twins is beyond me. To me, it's such a non-issue being made into a whole thing. It's not like the show will depict them doing incestuous stuff. Just watch the damn show and judge for yourself if it's any good afterwards.
And if you, the viewer, whoever you may be, despise incest content on sites such as Inkbunny and e621, there's a keyword to block.

i only watched two episodes of the animaniacs reboot and stopped watching immediately after. seriously the first two episodes and you do nothing except pinky and the brain? yeah they can fuck off. i never even liked pinky and the brain, dont do two damn episodes in a row of the same damn characters! also they removed Minerva due to her... uhh.... lets just say "over sexualized" nature. yeah they removed most of her episodes back in the original due to how she acted and how they over sexualized her. i seen the original episodes and yeah i seen why lol. its pretty funny.

Personally, I'm opposed to the change in relationship but, I saw the original version and I liked the idea of Babs chasing after Buster so he could be her boyfriend. Making them siblings (and twins on top of that) would make that situation unairable.
