So... apparently I never uploaded this cute pupper? At all? Despite having them for like... years? Wow.
Well time to fix that.
Meet Terebinth! A forest fairy that takes on the likeness of a cute dog to play with people. Its skin is textured like smooth wood, with only a few notches along its face, back, and hind legs. It's said that when happy, the vines on the fairy's legs bloom into berries that, despite having a strong smell, can be used in cooking.
The acorn cap is said to hide the knowledge of the ancient forests, though no one has been able to find out. Those that anger it can quickly find themselves bashed back by its strong, branch-like tail. The leaves secrete a resin that can make wounds itch severely for several days, deterring those who might attack it or its forest home.
There is a legend that says the fairy can assume a human form to those it trusts the most, but they say it prefers staying as a small dog as people are more likely to reveal their true nature to something resembling a domestic animal.

*This isn't really a Sonic OC, or furry OC, specifically. If anything it could be used in any environment. Also the name Terebinth is the name of the turpentine tree pistacia terebinthus, but I also like how it sounds close to the story/movie Bridge to Terabithia to give that fantastical sort of name~
