Trading card paintings: Krassus and Tyrax

Evolution of a cover: Whomper #9
set default image size: small | medium | wide
These are painted the size of a trading card. I was thinking of doing all the Mythies this way and selling them on auction. What do you think of the idea?

I couldn't guarantee that they'd sell, but they sure look cute in watercolours.

Trading Cards are fun, but they HAVE to be digital art.  Also, you either have to put some cool info on the card about the subject of the picture or make it a Trading Card Game.   Personally, I like TCGs just NOT based on Magic the Gathering - I'm looking at you~ Furoticion.

These are actually miniature paintings for art collectors, not really trading cards.

In that case, I think it is very dumb - you can't get good resolution on little cards and the fact that they are traditional art on a tiny card takes away from the artistic value.  Classical traditional art pieces are on huge canvases, but in the fandom the modern canvas is 8.5" by 11", doing anything smaller than that is often thought of as a "sketch" even if you put your best work into it.  Also, these appear to be color pencil, which takes away from the artistic value because of the lack of consistency in the coloring.  I hate to say it like this, but it makes it look cheap, like you are trying to make a quick buck.
