"S-So..." Kit started off, holding his right arm with his left hand as he asked the next part. "Are you okay?"
as the night wind blew cool air, blowing the leaves in trees, Alec and Kit continued to share a gaze. His pure black eyes meet alecs own green pair.
Alec quickly broke that, Forcefully Laughing while putting a hand around his back head to rub. "Hehe! Y-Yeah, I'm fine!" He lied, "N-No need to worry!"
"You're Lying."
At Kit's next words, He went stiff. His smile twitched in shock. "W...W-What?"
Kitsunami didn't have a problem repeating. "You're Lying."
Shit, was Alec's immediate thought. Maybe he could fool Kit! though! "N-Noooo, I was sweating, Sweating from running-"
Kit immediately cut that argument in half. "People don't sweat through their eyes, Alec."

Kitsunami took a step towards, and then another. "Once again Alec I will ask, Are you okay?"

With no other options left, Alec Sighed, Bringing his head down in accordance as well. From there, He spoke.

Except for the Two tails and species, I'd say we're kinda the same really." Alec Explained shrugging as he raised his head up slowly throughout.
and Kit just listened to his woes without a word.
"So with that in mind... Is it wrong that I get mad at such comparisons? Is it wrong that I lashed out at him for that?"
Reaching down, Alex pulled out some grass with his right hand. As the wind blew in again, He let it go and watched as it flew away in said weather.

Watching it all occur in front of him, Kit frowned. He didn't like this, Not one bit. He needed to do something!
Once Alec stopped shaking his body about, Kit decided it was time to act.
Tears poured from Alec's eyes, His lip still trembling as he spoke up His voice sounded strained and weak, A Defeating tone from the vocal cords;
"I-I guess I'm really just Second Rate Loser, Are-"
He was cut off as Kit jumped at him, acting on instinct as he leaped forward, hands opened wide. A Determined look was on his face, As He Grabbed The Other fennec. Alec was wrapped up...

Alec widened His eyes in surprise. "K-Kit?!"
Kit held on tight. "You're not a Loser Alec, You're my friend."
while wondering what to do, Kit remembered this one that Starline did for Him and surge once they did a test run well. A Hug, He thought it was. Kit didn't know much about the Hug, But it did give him warm fluttery flowers.
He can only hope it was the same for Alec.
Alec on the other hand was shocked at the sudden hug. But...He couldn't deny how nice it felt.
It was the kinda hug that could soften anyone.
letting go a few minutes later, Kit continued to speak. "It's not your fault Alec. You just needed to scream out your Frustrations." He spoke softly holding alecs arm firmly. "It wasn't the other person's fault at all either, You just put all of your anger into him unknowingly. You need to apologize to them."
Alec then had a thought about Kit's words...
Did...Did he ever hate tails for any other reasons than the comparisons?
...No, He doesn't remember.
It was all just comparisons. That was it.

Alec was then snapped out of his thoughts with a hand touching his head, Petting it. "H-Huh?"
As Kit spoke the next words, He could hear every word. "And Your my friend, Not a Loser, or a Nuisance. or an Annoyance. Y-Your my friend, The bestest one I could ask for!"
if that wasn't enough, Alec's heart melted at the smile He gave afterward.
Alec Sniffled, as a result, Kit used his water tentacles to get rid of all the teardrops that fell from his eyes. "T-Thanks Kit...I appreciate it."
and Kit smiled at this. "No problem!"
From then on, The night turned from sour to sweet, tears of pain turning into Tears of Joy, as Both friends Had the time of their lives. Kit could Feel himself becoming less shy throughout it all. One could say, He felt... Comforted.
Which was weird, It was... different, from Starline and Surge. Surge would belittle him, And Starline would look disappointed. So he never really got a chance to feel... Wanted.
But with Alec...He feels wanted. To Him...
It was the best.

By the time the fun would end for the two, it was already the crack of dawn.
Alec realized first. "Oh Crap, We really did Hang out the entire night!"

With that in mind, Both got up and began to get ready, But something bugged Alec's mind "Hey Kit?"
"Do you have a Phone?"
Kit shrugged "No, Not really no."
"Want mine?"
Kit's eyes nearly bulged open as He saw it, the phone in Alec's hand being given to him.
shocked was one of the words in his expression. "A-Are you Serious? I can have this??"
"Why Not?" Alec replied. "You're a good friend, So you deserve something nice.
kit could a smile creeping up as he stuttered, Shaking about. "T-Thank You...!"
Alec just merely gave him a quick peck on the cheek while handing him the phone. "No worries, I got another one at home, so I'm not really losing any. and Don't worry, I deleted my account, so this is all new!"
Kit wordlessly nodded, Stiff after the quick kiss on his cheek. "U-Uh, huh..."

before Kit knew it, Alec snatched the phone from his hands. He then felt Alec grab him and held him close, Making Him Flush lightly at the closeness. He then looked at the phone, It was in its camera mode. with them being on it. "Say cheese!~"
Kit looked at him and smiled the brightest he's ever been, Holding up a peace sign like Alec was. "Cheese~"

and with that, There was a photo in the gallery.
"There you go, A Phone for your gallery!" Alec spoke.
Kit raised a brow. "R-Really?"
Alec nodded. "Yeah, A pic to start off with your new phone!
Kit smiled. "Thanks...!"
"No problem!" Alec beamed back a smile as he got up and Yawned. He Stretched before beginning to walk away. "Alright well, ill see you later!"
Kit just waved as he waved back. fading from his view deeper and deeper until He was gone. "B-Bye..."
It was after he left, that Kit touched his right cheek.
The cheek that Alec Kissed.
with the Kiss, Kit didn't know what to think.
It was quick, It was Sudden, and It surprised him!

it was three knocks, Three successfully loud knocks on the Door. Alec hoped that would garner the foxes' attention.
once He heard footsteps, He immediately started getting scared with thoughts of running away. But He stood still, not wanting to run away this time.
as soon as the door unlocked itself, He could almost feel the urge to shield himself immediately as he closed his eyes shut tightly.
"Alec?" He heard.
opening his eyes, He would see tails, Fur frizzled with a sonic plushie the same as his, in his arms.
"Alec!" After Rubbing His eyes. Tails tone grew excited. "Alec I-"
But he was interrupted by Alec moving forward and softly hugging him tightly. "I'm sorry!"
Tails was stiff and silent, Alec continued. "The comparisons and all can be annoying and whatever, But I shouldn't take that out on You for it. I'm so sorry!"
Tails didn't know how to react. It only took a few seconds of the realization for him to find the right words;
"It's Okay, Alec. It's kinda my fault too, Really."
Alec widened His eyes at Tails words. He let go of the fox to let him speak up more. "I should've noticed something was up, considering how you acted to me a lot and all." Alec saw that grin on his face. "But it's Okay, We've cleared that up... Right Partner?"
Alec watched as tails raised a band out to him. even more accepting than ever.
It was then that Alec had a thought;

Once again, Alec couldn't control his eyes.
He felt warm tears flowing down as his lips trembled. He moved his hand towards Tails own hand, To which each hand gripped one another. "R-Right..."

After securing some things to the phone, like a home background color (blue like him) and such, Kits' new phone was a go!
He smiled as he walked, gazing upon the only picture in his gallery, A Picture of Him and Alec, Both Hugging and Giving a peace sign. towards the camera. He touched the cheek where Alec Kissed once again and felt his heart skip a beat.
He felt Happy.
"And Where Have You been!"
at the Sophisticated, Threatening tone, The happy feeling stopped. Kit just Knew who that was, Dr.Starline!
As He heard footsteps approaching, Kit quickly Hid away his new phone in His Pack, Knowing Starline rarely checks that.
"Surge covered for You, For some reason... And I wanna know why?"
As He got more in clear sight, Kit began to stutter. "I-I was Uhm...Looking around t-town?" He lied.
As the doctor eyed him Kit began sweating. He could feel his heart almost jump out of his chest once he saw him look at his pack too. But at inwardly relief when he gave up. Shrugging. "Fair enough I Suppose, Come along now."
Kit raised a brow. "Y-You're not angry with me?"
"No, No. I'll explain inside. come along now."
Kit smiled. Maybe he was in the clear after all! He ran along following the platypus. "A-Alright sir!"

Opening the door to the inside, Starline walked in first. "Come along Kitsunami, Come Come!"
Kit ran in happy as ever. "Okay! Doctor!"
But at the sight of Surge, unconscious, Lying on the floor with all of her will knocked out...
That died.
"W-W-W-" Kit's eyes were wide and his mouth was at a loss for words. His movement clearly said more as He quickly ran over towards Surge. There he began shaking her unconscious body. Grief was all over his face. "Surge! Surge! what happened?! Surge!"
"It's useless." He heard. The voice obviously being the doctor. "She's out like a light. Serves her right for lying to Me."
It didn't take long for Kit to put it together, Nor did it take for His Grief to become angry. pure anger, As his eyes turned pink. with the water tentacles propping out he stood up. "What. Did. You. Do... TO HER!!!"
But that ended up being futile, As once Kit turned around, ready to attack, Starline had his memory wipe ready. He fired it immediately as soon as Kit turned around to him, making him go into a good trance thanks to Starline's hypnotic memory eraser, Tentacles weakening with the Kit could feel his mind being forced to forget everything.
"All the times You've snuck out a few months will become nothing but a blur." He said as Kit felt himself weakening more and more, His legs wobbling as he was then on his knees. "That will teach You and Her to disrespect me."
With The last few words Kit could utter while in the trance, He said. "But...I-i... thought... It was...alright..."
Starline took the time to grow a smug smirk at this. "I lied, Kit."
And with that, He flicked Kit's Nose, Sending him down to the floor as well.
in his last moments Awake, Kit... Cried.
It was Hopeless, It was Useless, The moment he fell asleep he'll forget everything this past few weeks...
Especially...Alec.
He tried hard to stay awake, He really did.
But it was all a failure in the end.
He was going to forget.
He was going to forget about His friend.
He was going to forget about Alec, And there was nothing he could do, But cry.

Starline watched as His eyes were closed shut. He huffed in annoyance. Took Him long enough.
Moving forward to grab at his body, He also went ahead and grabbed Surges's body too. With them in His Hands. He slowly made his way over to the usual "realignment" room.
Time to fix up some projects.
