HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "I remember when you used to do original poses"
I still do, bruh ...but my time is limited these days AND (and) sometimes one actually likes an image (an animation cell in this case) simply as it appears---a scene from a beautiful memory one hopes to reincarnate as a trading card.
That and I was too flippin' lazy to do any practice sketching. :p
The lazy man works hardest, though---this actually was my third attempt at the character, so I may as well tried drawing the subject in a flirtatious pose from my imagination ...or from a model off Google (does anyone really care?). ^^ At the very least, my attempt has great big eyes ...which I believe gives her more soul ...that or I wasn't paying attention; after twenty-some minutes (which includes the time spent drawing the first two cards) I stopped caring about trying to draw *on-model (today's been an off day for me all the way round). :p
*I strive for 85% accuracy (I'm a realist---I know I can't draw) ...this one is below 60%, a consequence of freehanding most of the line art (I didn't measure, etc---I just drew). I hadn't decided to upload this card until the last minute, so with that in mind, I'll probably find myself hating on this drawing before too long; I 'might' delete it (I'm gonna try not to look at it).
For the present moment, we got what have, and we have what we got---and what we have is an ACO of Mrs. Fox from Saban's 'Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics', specifically from the episode 'The Marriage of Mrs. Fox'.
The above-linked video is conspicuously missing its intro ...which is a sin. So here's the intro for all to enjoy! (link tested 07/02/2022): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QswFm2rvSY8
I was gonna review this episode ...but I refuse to compose another review before I riff on 'Dot and the Bunny' ...and my mind has steadfastly denied the motion to review 'Dot' for several months now. :P But I'm stubborn---I will go down with this ship if need be (that's just how it goes).
Pencil...
The featured pencil IS from my personal collection (for those who don't know, I have a handful of pencils on a nominal 'loan', of which one has been featured and another is awaiting its turn).
Anyway, the pencil is the 'Peacock' from Eagle. This one's fairly old, possibly from around the end of WWII. The barrel of the 'Peacock' is hexagonal (six-sided). If one rolls the pencil, one will see a pattern of (American-patriotic) colors: red, white, blue; red, white, blue---six panels, three different colors. :3
Anyway, most of us know what a peacock is. The male is the flashy one, whereas the female (properly referred to as a 'peahen') is plain ol' brown.
I've never seen this version of Grimm's but it's Saban so it's above average at it's worst and pretty damn good at it's best. The show they did I'm most familiar with are "Samurai Pizza Cats" which was dubbed completely different than the original for Japan but still very entertaining.
Also a nice "Patriotic" pencil from "EAGLE"(grin) for the 4th of July weekend. :D

I've heard of the Pizza Cats, and have been asked more than once to draw them ...but I know nothing about them other than I somehow managed to change the channel away from them when they were yet on TV. ^^
Indeed! :D <3
I have a Saban pencil. ;) I've heard of the Pizza Cats, and have been asked more than once to draw
