Being a product of a magical being blessed by Mereliah, the drakkonids naturally had magic themselves and can do feats of miraculous nature. For Kanya, her special magic power is to affect nature and plants. She's a bit like Poison Ivy in a way that she is in tune with flora and can manipulate it to grow and help its future trajectory in a matter of seconds. Unlike other creatures who have had magic infused into their bodies by the Arbiter, she does not get exhausted or tired when using her power extensively. It's a natural part of who she is.
