I am proud to finally introduce to you all my new boy, Mathias Townsend! I will be honest with you all, I have had him for quite a while now but I was a little nervous to share him. Why? Well, he's actually an adopt. My first ever adopt. I bought him from @MoonBug, looks like back in 2019, mainly because I had been wanting a bat character for a little while and I thought the timing was perfect. After I bought him, though, it started seeming to me that his original design, by @Velow1, resembled a Pokémon a little bit (mostly the color scheme). I didn't know what to do about that until I had the thought that I now bought this character, so I should be able to make whatever changes I wanted, right? Is that how that works? I pretty much asked
if he would help me with this ref sheet and help me decide the new colors and then we came up with this. But then, I didn't know if what I had done was violating some rules of adopts or what because I don't know! So I kept him hidden away for a long time.
Well, I finally got over that and I guess we'll see what happens, because I quite love him regardless, and pretty much the only thing I changed about the original design was the green coloration -- which is now the pink. Also, Penmark and I also discussed his little cameo in this piece. Did you notice it? :3
