Episode 17: The Haunted Beach
One summer day, Sally, Nicole, and Blaze hopped off a train as they arrived at a train station at the beach.
"We're here," Sally said. As the three looked at the beach, they were ready.
"Yeah, I am ready to unwind and take a break from Sailor Guardian business," Blaze said.
"As am I," Nicole said.
"So, Blaze, where's the pension house we're staying in," Sally asked.
"It's supposed to be pretty close by," Blaze said as she looked at a slip of paper.
"Is it a good place," Sally asked.
"Yeah. It has its own private beach, so we can be alone to have fun, as well as get to that Sailor Guardian training you have been planning," Blaze said. However, as the three walked through the woods at sunset, Nicole was beginning to worry.
"This is not pretty close," Nicole said.
"I agree. I wonder if the pamplet has the right directions," Blaze said when suddenly, a storm was coming, as they came across a young wolf girl in robes.
"It's going to rain soon. I will lead you to shelter," the wolf girl said as she led the three to a huge mansion. As they got in, the girls changed out of their soaked clothes and got robes around their body. As Sally laid on her bed, she got a knock and when she opened it, a female dog with bat wings popped up.
"Good evening," the vampire dog said. Sally panicked as Nicole and Blaze came.
"Hey, miss, what's the big idea scaring Sally like that. We know this is a scary mansion, but please keep it down," Blaze said.
"I'm sorry," the vampire dog said as she bowed, then went to fix the light in the hallway.
"At least she is kind enough to apologize," Sally said as Blaze helped her up.
"True. Half-monster Mobians can be scary when faced for the first time," Blaze said.
"Half-monster," Nicole asked in fear.
"Yeah, my grandma told me they are half-monster due to a curse a witch placed on them many centuries ago," Blaze said. Later, the three, dressed in dry clothes, were eating at the dining room.
"So, Blaze, why did you choose this place," Sally asked.
"To be honest, it was cheap," Blaze said.
"Well, at least the food isn't as cheap tasting," Nicole said.
"Plus, since me and Jan are half-monsters, the spooky atmosphere makes it a good selling point," the vampire dog said as a werefox came in.
"I see," Sally said as she heard a ghostly wail.
"Not again," the two monster Mobians said.
"What again," Sally asked.
"I think I know," Blaze said as she opened the door to see a ghost in the hallway. As thunder flashed, it was gone.
"Did you see that," Sally said.
"No, we didn't," the werefox said as she and the vampire dog were hiding.
"I don't sense a monster, but there is an incredible power here," Blaze said. Meanwhile, a wolf warlock has got her daughter, Sara, to sleep using hypnosis as he grinned sinisterly.
The next day, Sally, dressed in her blue bikini, was enjoying the beach. Nicole, dressed in a purple one-piece swimsuit, and Blaze, who was dressed in a white bikini and had her hair down, was enjoying the time.
"Say, didn't anyone see Sara this morning," Blaze said.
"Not really. I was so busy getting my bikini on, I never noticed," Sally said as she and Blaze were playing catch with a white ball she brought. The following night, Sally was in the bath as Blaze was going through the hallways putting ofuda scrolls on the back of the chairs while chanting a spell of protection.
"That should keep everyone safe, although I am not convinced that's a ghost we saw last night," Blaze said. Meanwhile, as Nicole was dressed and drying off her hair, she saw Sara outside and went to her.
"Hey, Sara, are you okay," Nicole said.
"You bet, Nicole," Sara said.
"How'd you know my name," Nicole said.
"I saw you play. I wish I had friends," Sara said.
"I know how you feel. I was a loner until I met Sally," Nicole said.
Later, her father used hypnosis on Sara again as Nicole saw this and was shocked.
"You have strong psychic powers. By using hypnosis, we can transform you into the world's leading psychic," her father said. Meanwhile, Sally saw Mina and Jan (the half-monster Mobians) at an alter and were shocked.
"What are you guys doing," Sally asked.
"You found this place," Mina, the vampire dog said.
"What's more important is there's a powerful force being generated in this place," Blaze said as suddenly, a lot of wierd happenings began as Mina and Jan chanted. Soon, Sara's father taked to the red wolf girl.
"Now, I want you to use your powers to project a ghost to scare those girls away," he said, when Nicole came in.
"Stop that this instant," Nicole said.
"You again," the father said as the light broke and the ghost was conjured by Sara.
"Yes, wonderful. Now scare those girls. That will be our revenge on all who laughed at us and said we were fakes," the father said. Nicole was flung out the window, but the ghost soon turned to the father and attacked. Meanwhile, Sally and Blaze saw furniture flying around and saw the father thrown to the ground outside.
"This is a freaky night," Sally said.
"Sally, Blaze, we need to transform and save Sara's father," Nicole said as the three got their transformation items out and transformed into their Sailor forms.
"You mean ghost, how dare you ruin a good vacation. In the name of the moon," Sally said.
"We'll punish you," the three said in unison. Nicole Mercury went to Sara and shook her.
"Sara, you have to wake up. Sally Moon threw her tiara at the ghost, but it went through, shocking her and Blaze Mars. Soon, Nicole Mercury got Sara to wake up, but the ghost was still there, as Sara watched in shock.
"Sara, you need to run away. The ghost is beyond your control," the father said.
"What does he mean," Sally Moon asked.
"It must be the repressed thoughts of Sara's desire to rebel against her father. A feeling so strong, when she let it out, she lost control," Nicole Mercury said. As soon as the ghost blew Nicole Mercury away, Sara used her powers to vanquish it. The next day, the four play as the father, as well as Mina and Jan, watched.
"So, is the ghost gone, sir," Jan asked.
"Yes, Jan Werefox, she will never bother us ever again," the father said as she saw her daughter having fun.
