Edelguard is the daughter of Nicholas and an unnamed vixen that was born and raised in Redwall Abbey where as a child aside from doing her chores also practice her dancing with her mother and good friends with the other children and was possibly the only one to ever showed some kindness to Vitch and at the same time despite her friendship with Mattimeo she did see him as a bit spoiled but knew he had some good in him.
When Slagar and his band came into the abbey and stole them all she was a bit more sympathetic to Cynthia Bankvole and struck a fast friendship with Auma when they met and even felt proud to see her friend Mattimeo change over the march. Along with the others she was with and those that were already their joined in the attack against the black robe rats and was reunited with her father.
Years later when she had grown she left Redwall Abbey on a journey to find herself and eventually met Asil Seafararer and the Wandering Noonvale Companions Troupe by chance when she stopped to put on a show for some coin which lead to the pair striking a fast friendship and her joining him as a member of the Wandering Noonvale Companions Troupe.
Through all their adventures she learned much about herself when she followed in her ancestor's paw steps which she gladly shared with her parents before reuniting with her friends becoming a dancer that always paired with her otter friend were his singing and her dancing and tambourine playing where said to move the hearts of those that watched them.
Personality
Kind, caring and likes to see the good in others regardless if their a good beast or a vermin such as her belief that Vitch had good inside him and perhaps had he been given more affection she believed he would not have aided in the kidnapping of herself and her friends. She also had hope that when the time came Mattimeo would grow into a leader like his father. She has also shown loyalty an to those she cares about and to those she has forged a strong bond such as staying with Asil after she accepted the offer to join him and the others as another member of the Wandering Noonvale Companions Troupe.
