Reasons
"A-Alec?"
Hearing His name being called, The Red-Orange Fennec turned to the Blue Fennec. "I wanna ask." Kit twiddled his thumbs. "... W-Why do you feel so comfortable with me?"
The fennec next to him just simply shrugged. "Dunno. I guess it's just with you, I don't have to try to stand out or ever feel ignored." Alec turned to him and gave him a toothy smile. "It's why I like being with you."
Kit cracked a little smile as the warm feeling inside rose again. "N-No problem..."
after that, It became a bit quiet between the two, well until Alec spoke up then. "...What about You?"
it Was Kit's turn for a Question, As Alec pipped up. "Why do You like being around me?"
Kit hummed in thought for a bit before responding. "Well, I guess it's just... You treat me like somebody I guess, With others I know, They don't really consider me at all. Not one bit."
Throughout his speech, Alec noticed things like his tone growing cold. It was Rather, lonely and hateful. His hands were clenched as he spoke too. and The fennec swore he could have seen some purple in his eyes as well.
But soon enough, the tone became happy once again and he calmed down. Deep breaths, Both in and out.
He turned his head to Alec, Giving Him a Happy smile. "B-But with You, I'm able to not feel left out, to not feel like a waste or a disappointment...But as a friend."
Before Alec knew it, Kitsunami just up and suddenly hugged him, surprising Him.
But Alec quickly grew okay with the Hug and even hugged back, kindly smiling as both stayed in this moment.
"I'm glad to be your friend too."
A tender moment.
Candy
"Mmm~" Kit watched as Alec moaned about while clutching his cheeks, obviously chewing on something good to him.
But what?
Once He swallowed, Kit took the opportunity to respond. "Uh, Alec?"
"Yeah?"
"What are you eating?"
"Huh? O-Oooooh! My bad, hehe! Just some candy is all! Real Yummy candy too-"
"What's... Candy?"

For Alec, It was like the whole world was stopped when he said that. He turned to Kit with a full face of seriousness.
"What?"
[...]
"W-Wow!! This is delicious~"
Alec felt his grin gets wider as He heard that, Watching the Kit stuff his face with Sweets. His tail was wildly wagging.
Alec nodded. "I know right? It's amazing."
"I'm Never allowed this!"
Now that Got Alec to raise a brow. "Huh? I wonder why...?"
[...]
"SURGE FOR THE LOVE GOD!" Starline could only screech as He was huddled into a corner, Shaking with all of His heart. "DID YOU GIVE KIT CANDY?!?!"
Surge, Was also in hiding. Under a table, she was, scared as well too. "DO I LOOK LIKE I'M THAT FUCKING DUMB, DOCTOR? HELL NO I DIDN'T!" She screeched back.
All over the lab, there was water. on the tables. on the floor. and unfortunately on some of the machines too. (but not Starlines personal computer, thank god.)
On top of one of the tables was Kit. He was dancing, Twirling, and spinning His legs around without a care in the world.
"Heheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheehehehe...!~"
The only thing besides the dripping that went on in his room were the crazed Giggles of the water fennec.
Starline wished he had his glove right now. "THEN WHO DID?!"
Surge didn't want to admit it, But this was lowkey scaring the fuck out of her. "I DON'T FUCKING KNOW!!!"
[Meanwhile...]
Feeling a sudden urge, Alec Took the time out of making a new blueprint, to shudder.
What was that feeling?
He was in thought about it for a minute before just shrugging and going back to work.
maybe it was nothing...
Surge
"Are you sure she isn't a jerk?" Alec asked, Eyebrows raised in concern. "Cause She sounds like one."
"Oh nononono! M-Ma'am's nice Alec!" Kit reassured fast. "...And strong, beautiful too! ...and sooo dominant!~"
Alec awkwardly scooted away from the daydreaming Kit. "Okayyy..."
[...]
"M-Ma'am," Kit started, Gesturing his fennec bud to Her. "I-I'd like for you to meet Alec...my F-Friend...!"
Alec could feel the shyness in his voice. Quite frankly, He was a little shy himself too!
He didn't know why, But something felt familiar about her...
But despite that, He still waved to her in a friendly manner. "H-Hi...!"
Surge just looked him up and down, Then turned to the shy Kit, Then back to Alec.
"..."
She stroked her chin. "Tch! Guess Drippy finally got a fucking Mate after all..."
As followed after she spoke, Kit became a red fennec while Alec went Full-on Pink. "W-WHATS THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN?!?!"
Hugs
"Alec, I want a Hug."
To say that He was flabbergasted was an understatement. "W-What?" Why such a weird question?
Kit raised his hands out to him. "Just one is all. I want to see what they feel like."
Alec hesitated but gave in after hearing that. "...Okay, Fine."
As Alec raised his hands he quickly felt a soft figure cushion into Him.
Kit felt comfy like a pillow, a fluffy one!
Alec blushed as he saw Kit's tail wagging, His ears raised a little as well.
Despite not showing it, His body gave off the feeling of happiness at the hug.
He held him tighter as His lips betrayed Him, curving into a little smile as His tail began to wag itself as well.
A hug was always nice.
Bullies
Once he saw the injuries, Kit rushed over quickly to His fennec friend. Their eyes and tone were full of concern. "W-What Happened?!"
Alec smiled weakly, "N-Nothing really. Just had a tussle with Bullies was all... Nothing they cant do won't hurt me-"
with a nice Hug, Alec was silenced. He could feel Kit's arms shaking as it continued. He probably should've cleaned up his injuries a bit more, His friend is probably worried as hell.
But once they pulled apart, Alec realized something as He stared into his eyes.
His purple eyes, which leaked Anger, and murder...
and the tone that reeked murderous intent;
"Who... Did. it?"
That Kit... Wasn't worried...
He was angry.
[...]
"I can make it look like an accident. Nobody would know."
Alec turned His head towards fennec beside Him with disbelief and shock. Mouth agape in reaction to His words.
"I-I would!!" Alec was on the other side of this idea entirely. "And sure, them having punishment is good, but maybe something LIGHTER please!"
I mean, It's not as though He had some fantasies of that happening...
But even then, He would not want to bring those fantasies to reality! Even if They were huge A-holes...
Kit was in thought, contemplating for a few seconds before giving out another response. "...Kidnapping then?"
"..."
Alec's mouth was agape further. Why was He saying this normally Like it was the dang WEATHER!
He put his arms into an X stance. "Something else that doesn't involve any harm of any kind... Please?"
Kit groaned out with a frustrated sigh. "... Fine. I'll think of something else." He agreed. His red eyes met Alec's Green ones. "I don't understand why you don't want to punish them for hurting you. It's... confusing. But I'll do it for you..."
Kit only gave a sympathetic smile to His friends, Patting and rubbing Him on the head with his left. He immediately grew happy in regards to that, Purring ever so lowly as His expression was changed like that.
"I DO want them punished.." Alec admitted, Scratching his right cheek with his right hand. He could feel a sweatdrop, quickly recalling the suggestions His friend gave. "But not in a way that involves death or torture..."
Kit sure had a Protective friend there...
and It made Him glad...somewhat.
Poke
"Poke."
"Kit, Stop it."
"Poke."
"I mean it!"
"...Poke."
from the last poke to his little cheeks, Alec glared at Kit. While it just looked to be a rather angry one, it reeked of Playful intent. "You get ONE more..." He warned.
And so, The Blue Imposter took that warning to thought...
For 2 seconds. "Poke."
With the jab to his cheek, Alec Gave up. "THAT'S IT!!!"
Lunging at Him, what followed through once they hit the grassy floor was a series of pokes. many jabbing the other by from each other.
It would continue on for a few more minutes until they stopped for a breath. Soon after which, Alec would start laughing once he hit the floor in the afterglow. Kit joined in next as both little fennec watched the stars align soon silently.
And it was beautiful.
