I think that hole in Courage's tooth is in the 'wrong' tooth? I mean, I always remembered it being front and center when he screams and after a big impact and does that silly "That hurt but I'm alive and kicking" laugh. That aside, this is absolutely adorable and completely in line with how I remember the show.

There's a weird kind of internal consistency with it that makes it seem random, but often depends on how many of his teeth are showing in an expression, but it's always on top. For the "oh crap" look with his paws to his mouth, it's in the middle of a set of three, facing the camera it's the far left in a set of five, for a scream with a set of four it's the second one counting from the side of him with his nose. Which side the hole is on depends on which way he's facing like a video game sprite if he's looking left or right.
I know this is an awful lot of pedanticism over a tooth with a hole on an animated character, but I end up fascinated by things like this. He's adorable no matter where you draw it and I want to hug him.
