Another journal entry that is long overdue. I'm writing this now cause Sabrina is asleep, I think this is going to be the only chance I have all day to do it. I didn't even get a chance to unpack when I came into the room last night before she pounced me. Not that I'm complaining any, I will always gladly give up a nights rest to be with my love. She looks so much cuter sleeping as a panthress then she did as a human. I am really lucky to still have her. After a couple more weeks my training will be over, and then I will be able to stay home as long as I want until I'm called to go off and do what is needed to keep her safe. Heh, she is starting to sit up. Guess that's my que to stop here for now.

Everything is packed and on the plane. I'm a little nervous being up in the air, if the humans really wanted to they could shoot us down and we would all be done for. I can't help but constantly look out the window, expecting some fighter jet to come rocketing up before letting go of a missile to shoot the plane down. Sabrina is trying to comfort me, but only way I will relax is when we land safely in California. Thankfully I didn't really have much, so all that I have I was able to carry onto the plane with me. I thought maybe if I write something in this it would help me relax, heh, it's not working. When I got this assignment back in school I hated it. I thought it was stupid and a waist of time. I'm not sure why I kept writing in it, but as of now I have no intention of stopping. I'm going to keep writing in this as long as I can, or atleast until I run out of pages.

We finally made it to our house. And I must say it is much better then I had expected. I was told because I am in a special squad, I was idiomatically given a better house. We also got our first paychecks, the paychecks cover all the time we have spent working since we started. Our combined money is more then enough to furnish the house and still have a couple grand left over for what food and getting utilities set up. We aren't to expect utilities to be going for atleast a couple of weeks while everyone gets situated into their new jobs. The UN is filling the donated land town by town. We were sent to Barstow California. It isn't a huge town, but it is allot better then the base we had been living at. I was given a couple of days to get everything situated before I was to report in to the nearby military base Fort Irwin for the rest of my training. I have noticed that there are still many humans that live in the area, and they seem to have no problem with us. Our neighbors actually greeted us when we arrived and invited us to a barbeque they were having to welcome all the new anthros that came to the community.

We went out and check out the local stores, looking around for furniture to be put in our new home. We managed to get a full kitchen set, a full bedroom set and a full living room set for allot less then we figured it would of cost. Even though we have three bedrooms in the house, we don't see any point in putting anything into the other rooms just yet. Can fill those later when the time calls for it, or when we have ideas on what we will do with the rooms. It was also pretty easy getting the furniture to the house. The delivery crew was already bringing some stuff to this neighborhood, so they just brought our stuff out and helped set it up. I couldn't help but chuckle as the two human males watched me carry in the sofa on my own, not even breaking a sweat. They did try to show they could do their job just fine though, I'm sure their backs will be hurting tonight for carrying those lazy boys in on their own. Sabrina and myself spent the rest of the evening and into the night setting things up. The plumber was suppose to come out later in the week to set up the new hot water heater, even though we wouldn't have water to run through it for atleast two more weeks, nor gas to heat the water for probably about a month. Thankfully though they are trying to work quickly to get electricity back up and running. Electricity cut out the day before we got there, and is projected to be back up tomorrow. The neighbors are annoyed more at the people who left because we were moving in than anything else. Sadly I won't be here for the barbeque we were invited to, but Sabrina should go to it. I hope she does.

Head back for the last bit of my training tomorrow. Two more weeks of hard work and torture, thing that sucks though is torture isn't an euphemism. The last bit of my training is torture training. I will go through basic torture tactics so I will learn what to expect if I get caught, and be able to resist telling them what my captives want to know. Needless to say I am not looking forward to this. Brighter side of things, Sabrina and I christened our new bed last night, and broke it. I'm glad we got the warranty on it, who knew that the bed wasn't raited for a couple of two hundred and fifty plus pound panthers going at it. I think we are going to invest in a metal bed next, just one night and our headboard is, well. I don't think the headboard will last to long with Sabrina digging her claws into it like she was. Good thing we still have plenty of money left over, Sabrina said the new bed will be here and set up when I return. I trust that she can get the job done. By the time I get back, we should know how much our annual paychecks are going to be. From there we will head out and get a car. Today we hit the stores again and did some clothes shopping, well tried. It's really hard to find clothes when you just about seven foot tall. I think we are going to have to order from online, which will suck cause we don't even have bank accounts set up yet. That is going to be really hard to do, not sure how I'm going to get everything I need to get the proper identification so I can get a bank account, and get a drivers license. I guess I'll have to call my parents and hope that they are willing to do one more thing for their dead son. Goodnews though, Sabrina is getting ready to take her tests to start interning for her doctorate. Supposedly humans don't get this far this quickly, but the rate at which the anthros are progressing through studies and such is much quicker then the humans. I myself have already learned how to do several things that took humans a couple weeks to learn and master. I'm not allowed to say what they are, but I know how to do them. Sabrina says that at the rate she is learning, she was told she could possibly be a doctor in a couple years if not sooner. I guess I'll stop here, want to get a good night with Sabrina before I take off for the next two weeks.
