                                                                   Chapter III
                                                        The Talk Of A Lifetime

Both dragons sat next to each other at long wood table with their tails twined together and both were talking to each other and preparing themselves to explaining how Ignitus came back to life as they both were waiting for their food to be served by the moles that worked and maintained the kitchen and dining hall. The two dragons waited for about 15 minutes for their breakfast food, as both dragons continued on talking and preparing the red dragon’s speech for the others, they didn’t notice the moles bringing their food to their table or even saw the moles putting their food onto the ground as they were too busy talking and preparing themselves. The mole food servers just shook their heads and turned around and left the two dragons to themselves as the food servers walked back towards kitchens. As the mole food servers entered the kitchen the door behind them closed hard thus creating a loud sound throughout the dining hall which startled the two dragons from their talking and then they noticed they and a few others were the only ones in the entire dining room.

They both smelled a great and lovely scent coming from their table; they both looked down at their table and saw what the smell was. There on their table was their breakfast which was still steaming nice and warm from the kitchen stoves. They both looked up at each other and smiled before they turned back to their breakfast and then began to eat and enjoy their meal together. As both had begun to eat their meals, the two dragons had ordered different types of meat to eat. Cyril was eating a large cooked and juicy steak right now and was clearly enjoying his breakfast meal. Ignitus for that matter had ordered a dish of large cooked lamb chop’s and was also to enjoying his meal as well.

They both continued eating and enjoying their meals in silence for about 35 minutes and then five minutes later both dragons had finished their meals and then patted their stomachs as they both felt filled and fully refreshed now.

“Now that hit the damn spot.” Cyril said warmly.

“It sure did, remind me to thank the chiefs personally for the great food too.”

Cyril grinned and looked at the red dragon next to him, “You can at any time, baby.”

Ignitus grinned back at the blue dragon in return too, “Smartass.”

As both dragons sat there relax and rubbing their stomachs they didn’t notice behind them a familiar and friendly electric yellow dragon looking at them happily and kindly.

“So this is where you two have been all this time.”

Both dragons sitting at their table together turned their heads behind them and saw their old friend and fellow Guardian dragon, Volteer standing there and smiling happily at them. Volteer is a yellow dragon scaled dragon that has yellow eyes, a blue scaly underbelly, a blue pair of wings with yellow battered membranes, and blue horns. He also has blue spines that ran down from the back of his head, back, and downward toward his tail, he has blue claws and three blue crests on his shoulders, one on each of his elbows and ankles, and a tail spike for a tail blade and had a more muscular build too now. All in all, Volteer remind the same as always, but dragons still sitting at their table knew one thing about their old friend though. He was…

“Why this is simply fantastic, good, happy, and… “

Volteer tried finishing saying before Ignitus and Cyril cut him off before he could finish speaking.

“Volteer that will be quite enough old friend.” Ignitus ordered slightly annoyed.

Cyril rolled his blue eyes in annoyance too, “Yes, please stop that electric tongue of yours from incessantly wagging already, Volteer.”

Volteer just grinned though, “I was just trying to lighten the mood is all you two.”

Ignitus huffed to himself while his mate Cyril just put his right paw onto his face and sighed once more in annoyance.

“Yes Volteer we both know that now, but please tell us what it is you wanted to tell us.”

“Oh right. The others are waiting for you two in the temple’s pool of vision room right now. I’m here to bring you two with me to them.” Volteer said straight to the point.

Both Ignitus and Cyril looked at each other and smiled, and nodded to the yellow dragon behind them. Both dragons got up on all fours from their table and turned around to walk towards their yellow friend before stopping a couple of feet from the yellow male standing in front of them.

“Well, Volteer. Lead the way. Best not keep the others waiting any longer.” Cyril said plainly to the yellow drake.
Volteer nodded and then turned around himself and started walking ahead of the red and blue dragons. Ignitus and Cyril then started walking and following their old friend as he led them away to face the questions that will be brought to them soon enough.

(Pool of Vision’s Room)

The three dragons had finally arrived at the pools of vision’s room big red door that lead into the pool of vision’s room. The yellow dragon stood in front of the door before turning around and facing his old friends once more directly head on with a look concern in his yellow eyes and face.

“The others are just inside and waiting for you two, but so are Spyro and Cynder. You two ready to go in?”

Both Cyril and Ignitus nodded their heads and waited as Volteer nodded too as he turned back around and whispered some words to himself as the door to the pool of vision’s room moved and opened itself wide opened as the three dragons started walking into the room.

As they walked in together, Ignitus noticed the pool of visions room was very similar to the old one back in the old swamp temple. The only difference being though was that this room had stone floors and was spotless cleaned from the floors, walls, and all the way to the roof inside. The old swamp temple could never have been this clean and well kept, the floors always had dried up leaves lining the dirt floors with vines covering the walls and floors, spider webs and old cob-webs always took home in the corners, walls, and roof inside of the dome shaped stain glass window. Hell, even the swamp temple walls and roof were already showing signs and cracks while the swamp temple’s old foundation was already beginning to weather and crack too, but this city temple was a different story of itself. The other difference between this city temple and the old swamp one was the color itself. The old swamp temple had an old golden color to it; it was on the walls and roof while this city temple had silver instead of gold and its dome shaped roof was also stained glass as well, but more clean and clear too. To the red dragon though this temple was much way better than the old one ever was, he looked up to the walls and saw the elemental symbols that represent his and the other Guardians elements. On the left side of the room wall were the element symbols for water, lightning, and earth. Then to the right side of room wall were the elemental symbols for wind, fire, and ice. For Ignitus, he was glad and proud to see the old elemental symbols still hanging above on the walls of this city temple.

The big red door behind the three dragons closed shut and clicked locked. The yellow male went to the left side of the vision room and then sat under his elemental symbol and then looked his way and smiled a bit. Sitting right next to the yellow male’s left side was another familiar green dragon known as, Terrador. He had brown scaly plates on his shoulders that are smaller, light brown horns that resemble a rams, brown scaly underbelly and a brown spiked tail end. His wings are green with battered membranes were strangely healed while being brown along with back spines that ran from his head and back all the way down to his spiked tail end. His back was pushed down, was very muscular, his sharp teeth resemble that of an equine’s, and finally he has a brown goatie under his chin.

Ignitus looked at Terrador nodded toward him as the big green dragon did the same in return to him as he looked right and saw Cyril who now sat on the right side of the pool of visions and under his elemental symbol who was looking at him with a smile on his face? Ignitus then looked straight ahead and finally saw the very two dragons that missed him dearly.

The purple dragon with purple eyes and golden yellow underbelly and leaf like tail spade that now was splitted into three-edges, with orange-yellow wings which now stem from equally colored circular shoulders with yellow membranes, has yellow ridges on his back, the first three on his head that are his head crests lack the edges from his younger self, has yellow spines that run from his head, back and to his tail end, two small pairs yellow crests were growing from his scaly chest, his front half is more muscular then his back half and finally his snout that resembles a crocodiles was no longer bumpy at all, but looked more smoothed out now. Spyro was still the same young dragon as before when he first met him back in the swamp tunnels, he was just a bit more of a teenage now though. The dragoness next to Spyro hadn’t changed a bit since he last saw of her.

The dragoness had black scales with jaded-green eyes, she has black wings that were bigger with magenta membranes and one curved blade on each of the wing-carpals that were facing outward, has a magenta underbelly and a lengthy tail that ends with a scythe-like blade. She has six silver-white horns on her head and a silver-white crest that now was separated into pointed spikes runs down the back of her neck, her muzzle still was beaked and was no longer as small as before, and has silver-white claws. The symbols on her forehead and shoulders were still there along with her platinum choker on her neck, bracers on her arms, and single bracer on her tail. All in all, Cynder was very beautiful and dare he say sexy looking while remaining deadly, silent, and very lithe too. And finally, Sparx was there too and he hadn’t changed much for the most part any way.

Ignitus looked at Spyro and Cynder some more before the purple dragon broke the silence in the room.

“Ign-Ignitus your-your… alive when-when Volteer said you-you… were alive and well, I thought he was…”

The red dragon smiled sadly and kindly at the young dragon straight ahead of him for his sad and truthful words.

“I know young dragon, I know. You thought Volteer was lying and wasn’t telling the truth to you and Cynder, but the truth is Spyro. I’m very much alive and I plan on staying alive for long as I can.” Ignitus said honestly and warmly to Spyro.

The young teenage purple dragon nodded happily as his tears ran down his cheeks and onto the ground below him, “I’m so glad your-your alive, Ignitus. I’m just so glad and happy that you are alive.”

Ignitus softly smiled to himself and felt very humbled, touched, and honoured by the young dragon’s words and feelings.

“Thanks Spyro, thank you for your kind and humbled words. They mean a lot to me young dragon, they really do. So once again young dragon, thank you very much.”

Everybody in the room right now smiled at the sight and the words said between the red and purple dragons. Cynder herself even had a few tears escape from her green eyes from the sight and was slowly rubbing away her tears with her right paw while Sparx had his small yellow arms crossed and just smiled instead.

Ignitus who was still smiling gently spoke out softly to Spyro, “Young dragon there is one more thing I must address before I begin explaining myself to everyone in the room here about me coming back to life.”

Spyro raised his eye brows in question and nodded, “What might that be, Ignitus?”

Ignitus sighed to himself before his look turned sad and concerned, “Spyro it has come to my attention that you… blame yourself for my death. Am I right, young dragon?”

Spyro breathing became hitched and his look of sadness appeared once again on his face as the whole room fell into complete and totally silence as the others in the room watched the sight even more and wondered what would happen next.

Ignitus looked at Spyro warmly this time, “Spyro, don’t let my death haunt you and bring you anymore nightmares. You don’t have to feel the regret or carry the burden of my death alone anymore or any longer. So young dragon, just try and let… let go of all the guilt, the regret, and the burden that you feel of my death. Just let it go and out young dragon, just let it go.”

Spyro felt the words that the red elder dragon just said to him just now and felt more tears running down his cheeks again and then closed his purple eyes and then surprising flung himself over the pool of visions pool and into the red dragon’s scaly chest and pressed his purple head into the chest some more as his crying carried out through the entire room in which everybody had heard and was witnessing right now.

Ignitus sadly smiled at the young dragon crying into his scaly chest and then brought up his right paw and placed it on the purple dragon’s back and patted it like a father does to their grieving child who lost a friend or family member.

“Let it out young dragon, just let it out and free yourself from all the guilt and regret you’ve burden yourself with right now.” Ignitus said warmly and kindly to the young dragon crying into his scaly chest.

The others in the room watched the scene and smiled sadly and warmly at the sight before them. The young dragon continued crying and letting out his emotions went on for about 10 minutes or more as Spyro suddenly stopped his crying and removed himself from the red dragon’s chest as the red drake’s right paw removed itself from his back and onto the floor once again. Spyro was back on all fours as he brought up his right paw and rubbed away his tears from his puffy purple eyes and then looked up at Ignitus and smiled kindly towards him as the red dragon returned the smile back at him.

Spyro turned around and then flew over pool of visions and returned back to sit by Cynder’s right side as she placed her black over his back and then coiled her tail around the purple males own tail as both young dragons nuzzled each other rather lovingly as the others in the room watched on in happiness while Sparx stuck a finger into his tiny mouth as he made a gagging sound come out.

The two young dragons stopped their nuzzling to each other and looked back towards the red dragon once again as did the others did to in the room.

Ignitus once more sighed to himself, “Well, your all probably want to hear how I came back to life, yes?”

All the other dragons in the room nodded while Sparx’s made a groan of displeasure.

Ignitus looked towards his friends and huffed out, “Alright, I’ll tell you all about how I came back to life, but save the questions for after I’m done explaining myself. That’s right Volteer; we’re all looking at you right now.”

Volteer turned his head left and right as everybody was laughing and looking at him, he closed his yellow eyes and made a pouting annoyed sound that a child does whenever their annoyed or don’t like being laughed at.

Cynder herself chuckled at the sight of the yellow elder, “Heh, Volteer’s pouting like a small child does when there mad or angry.”

Volteer opened his yellow eyes once more and turned his head back around and smiled and laughed a little to himself.

“Okay, okay. I get it… I talk a lot and I won’t ask questions during Ignitus’s story, you all happy now.”

“Talk a lot you’d probably say every word from the dictionary to us right now.” Sparx said smartly.

Spyro gave his brother an annoyed look as Cynder smirked at him instead.

“Your one to talk, you talk non-stop all the damn time.” Cynder countered back smartly.

Sparx’s arms were once again crossed as his look changed to annoyance now, “I do not little miss carnage.”

Cynder grinned mischievously this time, “Denial, denial, denial.”

Spyro laughed to himself as did the others in the room as Sparx’s waved his small arms in disgust at Cynder’s words. They all continued laughing to themselves some more for a few more minutes as it started to stop and the looks turned from laughing to serious now as everybody looked back toward the elder red dragon once more.

“Well Ignitus, old friend. Would you like to start telling us your story and explaining to us about you getting back your life?” Terrador’s deep voice asked warmly.

Ignitus nodded, “Yes, I would. Well now, the story sort of starts like this. You see…”

For the next hour and forty-five minutes Ignitus told his side of the events of the war with the Dark Master, Malefor. He told everyone in the room how he got Spyro and Cynder through the Belt of Fire by giving up his life to get them across the Belt of Fire to the other side, he also told them how he sent one important message to Spyro when the world started breaking apart because of the Destroyer, he even told them about his encounter with the Chronicler and talking with him if Spyro and Cynder were alive themselves which they were, and he even told everyone in the room of his encounter with the Ancestor’s.

He finally told everyone in the room about how the Ancestor’s granting him a second chance at life because someone cried out for him and still needing him by their side. Ignitus told everyone of how it was Cyril who was crying out and still needing him back in his life once again and then telling everyone of his encounter with the blue dragon by the lake and then going back home with him. Ignitus skipped out the part of him and Cyril mating during his return back to life and thought it would destroy the mood in the room right now and possibly shock, surprise, or even disgust Spyro, Cynder, and even Sparxs of his and Cyril’s relationship. The red dragon had finally finished his story to everyone in the room right now and then breathed in and out to calm and relax himself for the on slot of questions coming his way soon.

The red male looked around the room at everyone and saw their looks of shock, surprise, joy, and even envy on their faces too.

“It’s quite the story huh, everyone.”

Everybody nodded except for Cyril who had heard the story already from his life-mate and just smiled at him instead and waved at him. Ignitus returned his wave back with his own and grinned back at him in return. Both dragons looked back at the others in the room and gentle smiled at them.

“So who wants to ask the first question? Remember make it short though, alright?” Ignitus asked plainly.

The whole room was silent once again for a few quick seconds before Volteer raised his right paw up into the air all the while Sparx’s and Cyril groaned out in annoyance and discomfort while the others were just acting normally to themselves as always. Volteer shrugged his shoulders out and waited for his old friends words.

Ignitus nodded towards Volteer, “Go ahead, Volteer. What is your question for me?”

Volteer smiled as he brought his right paw back to the ground and then asked his question, “Thank you, Ignitus. When you meet the Ancestors above and in person what were they like, what do they look like, or how did they sound like to you? That is my question old friend.”

Ignitus brought up his right paw and started rubbing his chin and goatie in thought to the question, “Hmm, let’s see. Well their shapes and sizes are adult looking, some were males and females. They sort of spoken like… we are right now, but it sounded like they were all speaking in one voice though. It’s hard to describe, really. As for what they looked like they were sort of colorful in appearance I’m guessing their color is based on their elements and they were see through as well. Finally the place I was at was all bright white in light all around me and the Ancestors, it sort of felt warm and even peaceful too and that’s all I can remember sadly. I hope that’s enough to answer your question, Volteer.”

Volteer nodded, “Oh yes, it was certain was Ignitus. It was truly wonderful, great, joyful, happy, and…”

Cyril had just about had enough of the yellow dragon’s words right now and then cut him off as he added his own annoyed voice into the mix, “Enough, Volteer! You got your answer from Ignitus, so please allow the others in the room here to have their questions to be asked and answered in return.”

Volteer stopped talking then and there and nodded quietly back at Cyril and the others in the room.

Ignitus nodded to Cyril in thanks, “Thank you lov… I-I mean Cyril for that, but please do it next time without the annoyed yell.”

Cyril grinned back at him and nodded, “I’ll certain try next time Ignitus.”

“It’s alright.” Ignitus said politely.

The red dragon turned his head and looked towards Terrador’s way now and nodded to him, “Well Terrador, old friend. You certain must have questions of your own to ask me of. Well, let’s hear it then?”

Terrador sighed peaceful with himself and looked back at his old and trusted friend in return, “To be honest, Ignitus. You pretty much answered my question that Volteer asked of you already and I’m happy with your answer.”

Ignitus smiled back in return, “Thank you Terrador. You must have more to say though?”

Terrador grinned, “Yes, I do actually. The only thing I can say at this moment of time is that I’m just glad and happy that my old and dear friend is back alive with us once more. That’s all I have to say, Ignitus.”

Ignitus closed his red eyes and smiled brightly at the green dragons peaceful and warm words that were said to him as he reopened his red eyes and looked back at Terrador once more.

“Thank you, Terrador for the kind and peaceful words old friend. Thank you.”

Terrador smiled proudly back at the red dragon in return, “Your very welcomed, old friend. I believe its Spyro and Cynder’s turn next to ask their questions.”

Ignitus walked right to the right of pool of vision’s before stopping and sitting right next to Cyril and under his elemental symbol of Fire before looking to his right and seeing both Spyro and Cynder look towards him.
“So young dragons, what are your questions for me to answer in return.” Ignitus asked them warmly.

Spyro and Cynder looked at each other and smiled lovingly at one and another with the black dragoness placing her paw on the purple dragon’s left shoulder.

“I think you should answer Spyro’s question first, Ignitus. I can wait for mine afterwards.” She told the elder red drake kindly.

Spyro looked at her and smiled lovingly at Cynder, “Thank you, Cynder.”

Cynder looked back at him and smiled mischievously, “Your welcome, Spyro but you own me one though.”

Spyro nodded back to her before looking back at Ignitus and smiling at him, “My question Ignitus is… What did you think of meeting the Chronicler in person was like for your first time? Was it good or bad meeting him?”

Ignitus laughed softly to himself and thoughtfully grinned only slightly, “Well young dragon. Getting to meet him was definitely a surprise for me, but I’m very grateful and honoured of getting the chance to see and talk with him though. He was very mature for his old age and very calm, wise, and intelligent as well. All in all Spyro, I was happy to meet and talk with him in person. It’s a moment I’ll never forget.”

Spyro smiled at the red dragon elder’s words and then looked towards his girlfriend, Cynder and nudged her with his left shoulder which got her attention now and nodded his head towards Ignitus.

“Your turn now, Cynder.” Spyro warmly said to her.

Cynder grinned at Spyro and turned her full attention to the big red drake now as Ignitus grinned at her.

“Well young dragoness, what is your question for me then?”

Cynder smiled gently towards him, “Thank you, Ignitus. My question is pretty simple to ask really.”

This got Ignitus’s attention right away as he gave the young black dragoness a questioning stare with right his eye brow raised up, “Oh and what simple question would that be, Cynder?”

Cynder looked back and forth between the red dragon and the blue ice dragon before finally settling her attention back on Ignitus.

“Well just like with Terrador and Volteer when I asked them this question. Are you and Cyril lovers or life-mates? That’s my simple question, Ignitus.”

The room once became deathly silent and still as Spyro and Sparxs looked at Cynder with shock and surprise on their faces while Terrador and Volteer looked towards their old friends and saw both Ignitus and Cyril who were blushing so hard at the moment they both looked away trying to hide their blushing faces from everyone in the room, but were failing rather miserable at it though. Spyro broke the silence in the room though now.

“Cynder?! You can’t just up and ask them that question. It’s personal.”

Cynder looked back at Spyro and snorted at him, “So, what. I asked Terrador and Volteer the same damn thing and they answered it just fine and honestly too.”

The purple dragon tried to cut in, but Cynder continued on though, “And if I recall you and Sparxs were there too when they told us their answer and you asked them yourself if it was true or not. They finally answered yes and told us they were life-mates.”

Spyro gave his lover a long look though, “I know that Cynder, but still…”

Cynder was about to cut him once more before Cyril coughed out loud getting her, Spyro, and the others attention while everyone looked towards him now.

“That’ll be quite enough young dragons. I and Ignitus had hoped to tell you two the truth about us for some time now, but every time we tried to tell you two. Something or someone always kept stopping us or interrupting us from telling. Then I guess with time and all, I and Ignitus just forget about it for a time, but we still hoped on telling you and Spyro everything about our relationship. It’s just; time just gets away from us when we’re old.” Cyril said honestly.

Cynder grinned a little bit, “So then, that means…”

Ignitus smiled now, “Yes young dragoness. I and Cyril are indeed life-mates and have been for a very, very long time and that’ll never change neither.”

Ignitus and Cyril looked at each other and smiled lovingly at one and another for a few quick seconds before they turned back and looked back towards Spyro and Cynder once again.

“I hope this truth of us being life-mates doesn’t change anything between us and you Cynder, Spyro, and Sparxs.” Cyril answered truthfully.

Spyro, Cynder, and Sparxs looked at one and another before stopping and smiling kindly and gentle towards Cyril and Ignitus.

“Not at all Cyril, we’re just glad and happy you told us the truth now and not later down the years when we get old. So once again thank you Cyril and Ignitus for telling us the truth.” Spyro said warmly.

Cyril smiled and nodded in thanks to them as Ignitus spoke softly now, “Cyril and I are happy to hear it, Spyro.”

Ignitus looked around the room once more, “Any more questions for me to answer?”

Everyone in the room remained silent for some time until Terrador broke the silence in the room with his booming low voice while looking towards the leader of the Guardians, Cyril.

“What about you, Cyril? Do you have any questions for your beloved mate to answer for you?”

Everyone looked towards the blue ice dragon now, Cyril felt all eyes on him now and huffed softly to himself before locking eyes with his mate’s own red ones and saw Ignitus looking at him with love and question in his mate’s handsome red eyes. Cyril looked away from him and looked at everyone else in the room once more.

“No, I don’t have any questions for my mate Terrador. Because Terrador, Ignitus told me everything already that had happened to him last night, but I will say this though.”

Cyril looked back towards the red dragon and saw him smiling lovingly towards him. The blue dragon looked back at everyone in the room once again shrugged his shoulders once as his blue tail twitched behind him.

“I’m just happy and very glad that the Ancestor’s above granted my life-mate his life back once more and gave him back to me too. That’s all I will say on the matter.” Cyril said warmly and proudly.

Ignitus who was still lovingly smiling, “Cyril.”

The room was silent once again before it was shattered by Spyro’s voice as everyone looked towards him and him alone now, “A thought just crossed my mind, but Ignitus will you be taking charge once again as Leader of the Guardians?”

Ignitus gasped with surprise as his red eyes for a few very quick seconds before he looked away and closed his red eyes shut as he thought about Spyro’s question. As for the other Guardians they themselves too wondered if the red dragon would take back his leadership from Cyril, his life-mate and beloved. Even Cynder and Sparxs were deep in thought too about Spyro’s question for Ignitus. As for the red dragon who was deep in thought suddenly sighed quietly to himself before looking back and opening his red eyes fully now and saw everyone looking towards him while he looked towards once more at Spyro, Cynder, and Sparxs yet again.

“To be really honest Spyro, no I don’t think I’m going to be Leader anymore. I’m afraid my fighting and leading others into battles or wars are over.”

Spyro had a sad look upon his face right now, “But why, Ignitus? Why?”

Ignitus sadly smiled this time, “Because young dragon I’m tired and old. Every time that I fight or use my elemental powers in battle or wars the longer it takes me to recover from it.”

“I know that Ignitus, I know but… still.” Spyro said sadly with worry in his voice.

Ignitus smiled a little brighter this time, “And also young dragon when the leader of the Guardians passes on his or her title down the line for the next leader to take the formers place. Weather’s its family, friends, life-mates, or students the title goes to them until they decide for themselves to pass on the title onto someone else.”

Cynder cut in this time, “So, the title passing onto anyone is basically a never ending cycle of sorts.”

Ignitus grinned his time, “Correct, young Cynder. The title of leadership has always been passed down to anyone, from Guardian to Guardian, to their family or friends, or their life-mates and to our own students even. It’s been the rule and code of leadership within the Guardians for a very long time. Although the rule and code could change in time depending on who leads the Guardians next though.”

As Cynder was about to continue Spyro had cut her off and then whispered to her, “I’m sorry, Cyn.” And then spoke out to Ignitus next.

“What about you becoming the Guardian of Fire once again, Ignitus?”

Ignitus sighed to himself before continuing, “Yes, young dragon I’ll still continue to hold onto the title as the Guardian of Fire for now, but my days of leadership are over now and besides. I’m pretty sure Cyril my beloved mate will do a fine job as Leader of the Guardians.”

Cyril grinned back at Ignitus before looking back toward Spyro, Cynder, and Sparxs.

Cynder cut back in this time once again, “When you say for “now”? Does that mean you’re thinking of someone replacing you for Guardian of Fire one day?”

Spyro looked sad and confused towards Cynder for a quick second before looking back at elder red dragon once more.

Ignitus grinned slightly, “Caught that onto that didn’t you, young dragoness.”

Cynder nodded proudly, “Sure did, Ignitus.”

Ignitus smiled, “Hmm, you sure are a smart one Cynder. I have been thinking about retirement for a very long time now, but first I have to find someone to replace me as the next Guardian of Fire and that will take some time though. So for now I’ll continue my duties as the Guardian of Fire until I can found someone to replace me one day.”

Cynder nodded as Spyro smiled this time as he looked happily to the red dragon as Cyril cut in this time as everyone looked towards him instead.

“Alright I think that’s enough questions for now. How about the rest of you take the next three to four days off and do whatever you want to do till then. I think you all would agree to that offer, right?”

Everybody looked one and another for a few quick moments before looking back towards blue drake and leader of the Guardians and nodded back at him.

Cyril huffed softly this time, “Alright then. Then this meeting is finished and done with. You may all leave now.”

With that the meeting was over now, both Volteer and Terrador then stood up and walked next to each other and twined their tails together as they walked out of the pool of vision room on the left side with the large red door closing behind. Next up to stand and leave were Spyro, Cynder, and Sparxs they waved bye to Ignitus and Cyril as they left the room on the right side of the visions room as the big red door behind them closed shut and loud. All there was left was the blue and red dragon’s sitting next to each other.

Ignitus sighed quietly to himself now, “Well… that went pretty good if you ask me, love.”

Cyril nodded tiredly, “Yeah it certainly was… interesting to say, but yes it went surprisingly well actually.”

Ignitus looked towards his life-mate and smiled lovingly at him.

“So what should we do then love?” Ignitus asked rather warmly.

Cyril looked at his mate in return and grinned, “Well, how about I show you instead baby?”

Ignitus smirked hotly this time as his red tail moved swiftly behind him, “Oh yeah, I like the sound of that love.”

Chapter IV - The Pain Of War
New chapter out, oh yeah. This chapter will have Ignitus explaining his story of how he came back to life and telling the others like Spyro, Cynder, Sparxs, Terrador, and Volteer of how he came back to life. He'll also be asked some seriously questions about what's next for the old Fire Guardian.

Sadly no smutty goodness this time I'm afraid. Yes I know it's sad that there's no smut in this chapter this time, but not every chapter is going to have smut in it.  I do have to keep the story balanced after all.
