Due to a mysterious link between Spike and Twilight, the Main 6 can access certain powers of the Elements of Harmony as long as they are with Spike and only for a limited time.

While amplified, Twilight Sparkle is nearly stripped of all moral shackles were keeping her restrained. She can use her magic talents to the fullest of her ability, to be able to defend her friends and family without holding back. This state also allows Spike to tap into Twilight's magic and lets him craft spells he would otherwise be unable to. He is also capable of allowing Twilight to tap into his draconic magic as well.

In this state, Spike and Twilight can bolster their magic in the presence of their friends. They can also strengthen the friendships of the beings around them as well. This can turn even the most frightened pony into the bravest hero, ready to help their friends in need.
