The Solar Spider is a medium sized tarantula living on the hot desert terrain. In addition to hunting various small preys, they are observed to gain energy by absorbing sunlight through the marking on the back of their abdomen.
Once threatened, they will use said marking to let out an extremely dazzling white flash, which momentarily stuns attackers, giving it time to flee. Said marking can also light up darkness.
Their body is very similar color with the surrounding sand, letting them blend in with the environment.
Assessment: Friendly if you have proper eye protections
