I imagine Pokemon have different standards for applying makeup based on what makes them look more attractive to a mate. A darker snout tip, sparkly horns are more appealing to Nidokings.

Nidoqueen looks absolutely stunning with that makeup on. Is that just casual outing makeup for them, or is that more formal 'take out all the stops'?
I'd honestly love to see, like, a Lady Gaga or David Bowie level Nidoqueen who goes full face paint, with the chin/neckline being a setting sun going into the ocean while the nose/face is the dark evening sky, the little yellow speckles are stars, and the ears could be painted up like different phases of the moon.
