Nezumi Kamen and Natalie, two heroic mice with minty fresh magic spells, ready for a game development tutorial + sprite pack!
I'm working on a fun project that will be a much improved version of TutOHRial. It will have 99 character sprites for map traversal, combat as fully animated player characters, and combat as static enemies, all indexed to the same number in every category. This is because in game development software I've used with pre-provided assets, I was always frustrated by there being any sort of mismatch in these categories - monsters with cool in-battle appearances but no map sprites to place as bosses, monsters that would make for cool player characters like werewolves not having sprites for use as player characters, and so on.
Sprite slot 0 is always null. Completely blank. Thus I can't quite call it 100 sprites in full.
I'm mostly starting from FnrrfYgmSchnish's 8-bit graphics pack, which anyone who's played a decent number of my games since 2015~ or so should be familiar with by now. Natalie and Kamen are examples of sprites entirely of my own making.
