simple answer
Slipped, caught myself foot kept going and bent forward *pop*
Not sure if I need surgery yet

according to my test results no sign of an Achilles tear but
Posterior soft tissue edema above the level of the ankle joint.
more than likely a bad sprain, not 100 percent sure yet.

according to my doctor i don't need surgery, but he still wants me to follow up with an ortho surgeon just to be sure.

Tho still havent gotten in contact with him for....some reason.

but yea ouch

About 12 years ago, I turned my left foot up on it's side from stepping on a round, golf ball size rock.
Didn't break anything, but it had hurt like Hell.

Feels a bit better already all things considered

Baerly Been a week but I can actually use it to balance myself without putting too much weight on it now so progress

I just wanted to say, that the other stair had it worse, but then I read your comment that they won. I hope you didn't give in without a fight!
But joking aside I hope everything is okay and I wish you a speedy recovery.

Ouch. I feel you on that. I have had 2 incidents with stairs myself. The 1st time I fell on my butt & slid the rest of the way down while my butt was bouncing. The 2nd time I was @ the bottom of the stairs & then I suddenly felt myself black out for a brief moment. Luckily I was @ the bottom. I realized that I had fell & my right knee got the worst of the fall but my elbow not so much. I hope you feel better

Well I guess I can call it luck when I fell down to stairs but never in my life have I suddenly blacked out. Could that be a bad sign?
